I stand in silence with my head low as I wait for the other students to leave the classroom.
I can't believe I managed to put myself in this situation. My first of school, in a new state, and this is what happens. Right away I get in trouble from talking in class. How stupid.
And my parents? What would my parents think? I have no idea! I've never been in trouble. So I don't really know what will happen to me when I get back home with the news of 'Rosé Ann Kasey got whatever consequence because she talked in the middle of her first period class'.
"You're Rosé Ann Kasey, the new student. Am I right?" He looks up from the paper in front of him.
I nod in response. Not letting my mouth slip a word due to the embarrassment and shame radiating from my body.
"Was that talk with Kellie that important for you interrupt my class." He tilts his head testing me.
And oh boy how it worked. I was never someone who would get mad or annoyed but he gave me bad vibes. An irritatingly handsome looking young guy that worked as a teacher at my new school was getting on my nerves, and not because I was anxious but because I could feel my blood boil from his undeniably handsome face....
I shake my head carried away with my thoughts and he returns an odd quirk from my sudden movement.
"I was trying to introduce myself to her. Clearly from the response she gave me before you managed to get us caught, she wasn't interested on my attempt of self introduction, really, she noticed my disappointment and spoke up to assure me that it wasn't because she disliked my presence." I explain to him finally having the courage to look at him in the eyes.
His icy blue eyes stern as if looking for the truth in my own pair, "And what was the reason that caused her to take her annoyance on you?"
I think back when she mentions the notes she needed, "One of the reasons was because I kept talking to her, to get her to talk to me. But besides that, she needs the notes."
He looks at me weirdly and crosses his arms, "The notes. You told her to go to Mrs.Lander for the notes. And she did, I saw her in the office when I went to get my schedule. She needs those notes, I can tell from her desperate eyes. Come on, you know what I'm talking about." I try to get him to give me the notes instead. Maybe I can gain Kellie to trust me by doing this, she'll hopefully at least appreciate my attempt to regain my self to her.
"I do know what your talking about actually." He nods his head and leans his elbows to his desk, "But I don't think I'm the science teacher you should be convincing."
I furrow my eyebrows, "What do you mean."
He stifles a laugh making me rethink about the scene with Mrs.Lander and Kellie, "Miss Kasey, you do know that there are plenty other science teachers here. I mean wouldn't it be quite hard for me to manage all grade years of high school? Don't you think Miss Kasey."
"But aren't you Kellie's science teacher?" I question still not understanding the situation.
"Yes I am. She did just sit in this classroom. Unless..." he trailed off as he got off the chair and move in front of me.
"Someone asked her to take it." He finishes.
It hits me, realizing she didn't need the notes, but someone else did. There wouldn't be any reason for her to get the notes anyway. She didn't even bother to go ask him about it either.
"Look Miss Kasey. You just got to this new school. I heard you were in a different state too. In an all girls private school? So I'm guessing you've never really experienced anything like this." He sat back on his chair reviewing the papers that may or may not have my information. But according to his accurate knowledge, I'm guessing he does.
