"Don't be cautious
don't be kind
you committed
I'm your crime"
The slim figure walked down the dimly lit alley, his newly acquired case in his hand. The smirk that played upon his face was enough to make anyone shudder in fear. His slender fingers pushed back his mask as screams started commencing behind him.
The mask hid his expression which stayed nonchalant behind it. All the illegal deals were just a routine for him. In the three years of his illicit acts, he was never caught once. His reason's were unknown to all. Some did this for enjoyment, some did it to be dreaded. As for him, just like everything else about him, it stayed buried in a pile of secrets.
He walked through the deep alleys like a fox in his territory. Emitting a sort of superior aura, with silent steps and his free hand stuffed the pockets of his jeans.
It was all calm, minus the echoing screams, till a body thrashed him on the wall. After rubbing his side he faced the man that pushed him "You messed with boss didn't you" the man growled at the boy who stayed unamused. The boy only rolled his eyes in annoyance before replying "yeah well tell him not to mess with the veiled fox next time." "You'll pay you brat.." the man spoke as he reached to his pocket for his gun.
Pulling out the pistol, he pointed it towards to the boy. "scared little guy?" he spoke thinking the latter was frightened. he, however reached for his pocket knife and kicked the gun out of the man's hands as swift as the wind.
It was just matter of seconds in which the veiled fox had his knife pressed against the grown man's neck. "oh you underestimate me buddy. I can kill you right here and now in a second. Any last words?" he spoke against the man's ear as he shook in fear. It took him some time to register what position he was in.
"guess not." was the last thing the boy spoke before sliding the knife across the man's neck. The boy stood up and let the body fall to the ground. the veiled fox picked up the man's dropped gun before shooting the man three times to make sure he's dead. he crouched down and brought his fingers to the cut putting some blood across his digits.
the boy stood up and drew something on the wall with the blood. it was a symbol. a fox with a piece of clothing upon his eyes. this was his way of marking his territory. every time he killed someone he would leave his mark. to make people aware of his presence.
The sound of sirens grew louder in the background as the veiled fox stood up wiping the blood off of his hands and hiding the corpse in a dumpster. he picked up the briefcase and walked down the next alley speeding up. He ran through the alleys one after another and finally reached his hideout.
He cocked his head and smiled innocently as if he didn't just kill someone.
"I'm back."
He sat on the roof of the building, his keen eyes observing each and every person on the streets as the morning calm set into midnight. He took a sip of his ice americano letting the caffeine sink into his system and waited.
Till he saw a familiar figure entering the narrow alley. Agent 423 shifted his eyes from the papers to the boy comparing him with the silhouette he saw in the files.
The agent set down his case and opened it, taking out a something visibly small. A tracker.
He closed the case and jumped to the next rooftop. His athletic abilities were known by everyone in the secret service. He leaped from one rooftop to another till he reached the one near the alleyway where he saw him.
He crouched down in a way no one below could see him. He took the files and rolled them. Agent 423 put the tracker inside the paper aiming it towards the boy who was busy marking the walls with the blood of his victim.
He was about to shoot the tracker towards the boy when his ear piece vibrated. He pressed a button and the call commenced.
"Agent 423 any lead? we've been waiting"
"listen how about you let me do my case in peace yeah?"
"but the authori-"
"who's the one doing the case? me or you guys?"
"y-you..."
"who came begging to the other? me or you guys?"
"us..."
"exactly. so how about you shut the fuck up and let me do my work"
"then-"
He disconnected the call not letting the lady say anything further. Annoyed from her voice, he focused his gaze back to where the boy was only to see nothing.
The agent mentally cursed at the bureau for distracting him when he was so close to tracking the wanted criminal. He walked on the roof thinking of his plan till he set a final one.
"oh i'll get you soon veiled fox.."
"Push my button anytime,
You got your finger on the trigger
But your trigger fingers mine."
