"Silver dollar
golden flame
dirty water
poison rain"
"Could he have a hit list?"
The agent thought studying the different clues and evidence pasted on the link chart in front of him. The first victim as of this month was a known criminal/gang leader, Kang Jongsub, involved in multiple drug dealings and weaponry exchanges. After his death, his gang were unsurprisingly found dead a few days later.
"Is it a chain?"
Thoughts & unsolved mysteries repeating in his mind second after second, the second victim was a businesswoman, name Jo Yeona, who has been sent to court 3 times for sexual harassment against a minor, found dead a day before being sent for the 4th time to court.
"Or perhaps they're linked"?
It was ominous how the victims of this month all committed different crimes, is he suddenly rethinking his path? If he is, it would be ridiculous to his entire reputation. An idiotic choice. Why would a known criminal do such nonsense, that's why he's referred to as a criminal anyway.
'If I've solved previous cases this won't be any different' he thought keeping his hopes high, he could be wrong, but 1 rule to apply for meeting a professional agent, never underestimate them. Which is why no one would even dare talk bad about him.
This had to be his hardest case yet, catching the most wanted criminal in the city, alias known as 'The Veiled Fox', purpose unknown, related attributes to other people, unknown. There were slight similarities between them, but they both had one goal. And that goal is to change the city for the good, or the bad.
The Agent's intentions were to stop all proceeding crimes roaming the city, saving innocent lives from the danger. The Veiled Fox's intention were to spread fear and pain throughout the city, creating more harm to show that he could be treated as a God.
His expression became extremely serious when his ear piece vibrated once again, this time he answered with no hesitation "We got a–" "Name, age, address & reputation of the victim, I need it now" he cut in sitting on his desk, eyes glued on his link chart. "R-right" the person on the other side stuttered.
"Kim Changho, 33, address unknown as of now, he works for a gang called 'Anarchy' we know because it's carved onto his gun, amateur move I must say."
Agent 423 stayed unfazed and concentrated focusing on the matter at hand, he took of his ear piece to avoid any more distractions. The word 'Anarchy' repeating in his mind, what kind of moron would name his gang Anarchy "tch" he scoffed walking over to the pile of paper just sitting there on his desk, a bunch of unanswered requests for assistance on more cases.
