21 - Take Me Where You Found Me.

Kookie woke up little earlier and the first thing he noticed was the warm body that was pressed against his. The lower bodies were covered by the sheet but it was very evident that both were naked.

Taehyung had his back towards him and Kookie had his hand draped over his waist. His fingers were lightly touching Taehyung's soft abdomen and Kookie felt it was the softest thing ever.

He was very content in this blissful situation when suddenly, another memory flashed before his eyes, making him retract his hand subconsciously. He was spooning another man and even from the back of his head, Kookie could recognize the other man as Chim. The only difference was that there was no sheet covering them and so both their naked bodies were very visible.

Taehyung woke up for the movement of Kookie abruptly withdrawing his hand and turned around sleepily. But his eyes got wide opened in concern as he saw the pained look in Kookie's face.

"H-hey, What's wrong?" Taehyung asked in his raspy bed voice, worry clearly visible in his eyes.

Kookie didn't want to tell what he saw as he remembered how happy he and Taehyung were last night, when they hoped this was Kookie's first time being intimate with someone. Guess it was just a fluke that he didn't get a flashback at that time.

"N-nothing." Kookie mumbled as he tried to come up with a believable explanation. "Uhhh... M-my back h-hurts."

Taehyung's face immediately look pained and he quickly apologized. "Oh... I'm sorry, Kookie. I didn't-"

"No!! I mean... it's ok. Doesn't hurt that much actually." Kookie panicked and quickly interrupted his apology. The last thing he wants is to make Taehyung feel bad. "I-I... thought it was supposed to hurt like this."

Taehyung gave a fond smile at that, making Kookie's heart sigh in relief.

"I guess so, specially if it's your first time." Taehyung said in a soft smile as he gave a light kiss to Kookie's cheek. 'But not to worry, I'll be taking care of you today. All you have to do is stay in bed and rest."

Taehyung jumped out of the bed and picked up his pant from the ground. Kookie felt his cheeks flush as looked at the gorgeously naked body of Kim Taehyung and he subconsciously pulled up the sheet to cover up his own chest. Taehyung gave a wink before he leaned and pecked Kookie's cheek.

"Didn't I told you not to hide from me, baby? " Taehyung asked in a soft voice, making Kookie look away in shyness.

"I'm hungry." Kookie mumbled as he slightly pushed Taehyung, clearly embarrassed with the situation.

"Aaaand one breakfast, coming up!!" Taehyung said with a mock salute. "come on, I'll help you to the bathroom."

"No, I can manage."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes!!"

"Ok then, stay here. I'll bring you breakfast."

Taehyung turned to leave and was almost at the door when Kookie spoke up again. 

"L-like you promised in the song?"

Taehyung turned back and gave a radiant smile. "Just like I promised." 

With that, he left the room and Kookie walked towards the bathroom to do his morning routine.

Taehyung had almost finished making sandwiches when he heard Kookie walking in to the kitchen. He turned around and gave a reproaching look to Kookie.

"Hey, I was gonna bring this up!"

Kookie gave a happy laugh. "You took too long. I.. uhh.. missed you."

The last part was said in a quiet voice but Taehyung heard it clearly. He smiled to himself as he set down the plates.

"So, what do you wanna do today? You wanna go out or stay in? We still have the car if you wanna go somewhere." Taehyung asked when they finished their breakfast.

Kookie thought for a while. On one hand, he's little sore from last night so staying in seemed like the smart option. But he also felt this strange energy in his body, like he had to do something or he might go crazy.

There was only one only activity which would match with the energy that seemed to be in his body that he can do at home and Kookie didn't want to do that again, so soon. And he also had somewhere that he was little curious to go.

"Can we go to the place where you found me?" Kookie asked in a small voice and Taehyung gave a smile at that.

"Of course we can baby."

Kookie looked at the secluded fishing spot in amazement. The place is so beautiful, no wonder Taehyung came here often. He was watching the river that was flowing peacefully and looked to the side when he sensed Taehyung walked closee.

"What do you think happened to me?" Kookie's voice was barely a whisper.

"Honestly, I can't think of anything, Kookie. Your shirt and hand was sort of tangled with a log which was making you float. You could have fallen in to the river from somewhere far up even. And you had a huge bump on your head. Only you will be able to answer that question."

"Well, I have many more questions that needs answers. But I'm not sure if I want to know them." Kookie said as he remembered what he saw in the morning.

Taehyung sneaked his hand over to Kookie's waist and pulled the man towards him gently. He softly pecked Kookie's cheek.

"We will get there eventually. You know that I will always be with you right?" Taehyung asked in a gentle voice and Kookie leaned in to his embrace even more.

"Tae... I don't want to go back." Kookie's voice sounded so vulnerable.

"Then you don't have to. You can stay here with me." Taehyung said with a reassuring smile.

"But what if-"

Kookie's stopped what he was about to say as another memory crashed in to his mind. But this one, was not a lovey dovey one like he had seen before. He could feel the emotion and boy, he was angry.

'Kookie what the hell is your problem? Why can't you understand I'm doing all this for us?!"

"Us?!! Do you really think there is us anymore Chim? There's only you and your work. You know what, fuck you!! I'm sick and tired of having the same conversation again and again.'

'You think I want this? I wish I could just go away from here and never come back.'

'Well, so do I! And even if I do, I'm sure you won't even notice it.'

The last this he heard was a sound of a door slamming. The memory was so intense that Kookie found himself falling to his knees. His vision blurred due to the tears that seemed to have gathered in his eyes. He heard another voice, quietly like it's far away at first but soon it got louder.

"Kookie! Kookie! Hey, talk to me.. Kookie!!"

Kookie looked up to see Taehyung kneeling in front of him with a worried face. He quickly threw himself on to Taehyung's chest and Taehyung wrapped his arms tightly around him, just as a sob escaped Kookie's lips.

"Shh.. hey, it's ok.. I'm here. I got you.." Taehyung whispered in to Kookie's ear, while his hand was rubbing Kookie's back in a soothing manner.

"Tae...."

"Baby?"

"I'm not sure but I think I ran away from home."
