Chapter 29 - rewritten

Todd, Jace and Gerald start to panic and we all go to run out the classroom but are stopped by the teacher shouting at us. ''You can't just leave because some guy told you to.'' Frustrated I turn to the old guy.

''First you insult my brother then you call my other brother some guy. How about you go fuck yourself?'' I take a few dangerous steps towards him only to be held back, looking up I see Andre and I raise an eyebrow in confusion he silently shakes his head.

''We need to go come on.'' He whispers. I take a deep breath and calm down as his touch moves from my hand to my cheek, I lean in and peck him on the lips and he places his forehead on mine. I relish in at his touch, it feels so calming and comforting. I pull away and smile up at him, ''thank you.'' I whisper.

''Come on let's go find your brothers.'' We run out of the class and down the hall. As we get to the entrance, we see my brothers pacing on the phone Ace was gone and my guards share anxious looks.

''What's going on?'' I ask starting to panic.

''Edward was on a mission but he has disappeared.'' Gio exclaims

''He is completely gone.'' Mario joins in.

''Ace can't find any trace of him.'' Michael finishes the sentence

The boy's panic is evident in their tone of voice and their actions. I don't know what to do or say. I want fancy pants back, I need him. I don't know what I would do without him. I stare at the floor for a moment in a world of my own. A hand grips mine and my eyes frantically search for the owner. I calm slightly as my eyes land on Andre's perfect face I sigh, giving an unsure tight-lipped smile.

''Are you okay?'' His smooth voice asks. I nod not wanting talk as I know my voice will come out unsure and I don't want the boys to worry, I need to shut myself off and help find my brother. ''You're not okay.'' He whispers.

''I know.'' That's all I say before turning and sprinting back into the school heading towards my locker. Once there I grab my gun, which is there for safety reasons.

Running back to the entrance I am stopped by the head teacher. ''Where are you going?''

''To my brothers. I have important matters to attend to.'' He scoffs.

''More important than your education'' what is it with teachers and 'important education' look what I've done with my life and I'm never in school and probably smarter than the teachers and students combined.

''This is a family matter and tonnes more important than school.'' I run a hand through my hair and try to push past him so I can get through the door. He puts his arm up and blocks me.

''If you leave now, I will call child services on your brother.'' I roll my eyes.

''My brothers and I will deal with that later then but they need me'' I try to plead with him but he shakes his head and grips the sleeve of my jumper. I try to pull away but his grip tightens, causing to drop the gun that was once in my hand.

''Stop squirming you stupid bitch.'' The head teacher growls out. I may have only met this guy once but I wouldn't expect him to act like this. He shoves me into an empty classroom I hear my name being shouted.

''IN HE...'' I tried to shout but his hand went over my mouth stopping me.

LUCAS POV

I am so worried about Edward; I don't think Ace or any of my siblings could survive losing such a big piece of the glue holding us together. We can't lose him and won't if I have anything to do with it. I saw Lucia's reaction to the news that look of devastation and sadness. I never want to see that look again it pains me so much. I saw the way Andre was with her though, he loves her you can see it in his eyes every time he sees her. I love how happy she is around him and me and my brothers all like him he is a genuinely good guy. But they're not dating... yet. We all know it is bound to happen soon and when it does, we are all going to get super protective of her but we support her.
