After Oikawa left Kageyama was getting a bit fidgety like he wanted to say something. "Hey, Hinata", Hinata turns to face him "yeah? Something wrong?", Kageyama hesitates and then speaks "I don't think that you should be dating Oikawa. I'm not saying that you can't, I'm just worried that you're going to get yourself into a certain situation with him that you wouldn't like", Hinata just looked at him confused.
"What I mean is, is that you don't really know him know him. You weren't the one who he went to middle school with, I get bad vibes from him. Also you barely even know him, you only know that he plays volleyball, a captain and setter, goes to Aoba Jousai, and a guy I used to go to middle school with. What the hell do you know about him to make you like him so much? Tell me.", Hinata's mind was all over the place trying to process what he said "I-I...", Hinata keeps stammering and trailing off "you what.". Kageyama sighs "I better go before it gets too late, bye", Hinata looks at him and says bye back, on rest of the walk Hinata keeps trying to sort out his feelings.
The next day went on as normal for Hinata, but he was still thinking about what Kageyama said yesterday 'what the hell do you know about him to make you like him so much? Tell me.' "He sounded like a dad or a mom in a way", he thought to himself. When it was time for practice Hinata was really spaced out and kept receiving the ball with his face.
"Yooo Hinata you actually have to receive buddy!", Tanaka shouts "sorry".
