"Can we cuddle?", Hinata asks with a smile, Oikawa was a bit relieved, but had this feeling in his gut telling him something, so he ignored it. Oikawa chuckles "sure", after a couple of hours pass by Hinata gets a phone call from his mom, Hinata is still asleep not even noticing that it's ringing, Oikawa wakes up and answers in a sleepy drawl "hello?" "Who are you, this isn't Shoyo", Oikawa was confused "this is Oikawa", the person on the other line immediately hung up and Oikawa was to be left clueless. Not long after Hinata's phone rings again and Oikaws answers "hello?", the person on the other line is Hinata's mom, sounding worried "oh hi Mrs. Hinata", Oikawa says politely "is Hinata with you? Is he safe?", Oikawa looks over at Hinata who was still sleeping on his chest and answers "yes, Shoyo is with me right now, he is in my house and he is sleeping, safely in my arms", Hinata's mother was relieved "thank goodness, does he need me to pick him up?" "Is it alright if he stays the night?" "Sure, just make sure he doesnt fall out if bed", she chuckles and Oikawa chuckles as well "don't worry I'll make sure he doesn't" "good, should I bring over his pajamas?" "No need, I think he can fit into my old clothes" "oh ok, well you boys have fun and be safe" "we will don't worry" "alright, bye" "bye", Oikawa hangs up and puts Hinata's phone down and pets Hinata's soft, fluffy hair.
About 30 minutes later Hinata wakes up and pats Oikawa's chest "bap", Hinata looks at Oikawa and he is asleep, Hinata keeps tapping his chest trying to wake him up "wake up, wake uuuuuup", Oikawa starts to wake up "what is it Shoyo?", Oikawa says in a lazy drawl "did my phone ring earlier?", Hinata was expecting a call from Kenma today "uh yeah?" "Who was it?" "Well I didn't really check who it was, but at the end of the call they said "this isn't Shoyo" then hung up" "that was my friend Kenma", Oikawa was confused, never hearing of someone named Kenma before "he lives in the city and I was expecting a call from him today" "ooooohhhh, but wait you guys aren't even that close, why does he call you by your first name? Even Tobio-chan doesn't do that to you" "I'm not sure, but he is really nice to me. Oh I should call him back or maybe not, he might be busy". Hinata thinks for a bit and decides to call him back "hey Kenma", Hinata puts him on speaker "hey Shoyo" "so what's up?" "Well I was wondering if you wanted to hang out? Me and Kuroo are going to be in your area for a short while", Hinata's eyes lit up from excitement "r-really!? Not joking?!", Kenma smiles a bit "yep, I'm not joking", Hinata gets off of the bed and all of a sudden really energetic "when are you guys coming?" "We're going there in about a week" "yes! Ok we'll see you in about a week", Kenma was confused as to what he meant by 'we' "who's the other person?" "Oikawa" "who is he?" "My uh...ummm", Hinata sort of forgot to tell Kenma that he was dating Oikawa "my friend", Oikawa was a bit hurt by this making a face that said that he got friendzoned "oh ok, well I have to go now Kuroo is trying to make me practice with him", Kuroo was trying to drag Kenma outside "hi Chibi-chan", Kuroo said "hi Kuroo-san", Hinata smiles "well I have to go" "ok bye Kenma" "bye", Hinata hangs up and looks over at Oikawa smiling, but Oikawa wasn't. "What's wrong?", Hinata asks not knowing why he looks so jealous "I thought I was the only one calling you Shoyo and giving you the cute nicknames", Hinata was clueless "cute...nicknames?", Hinata turns his head to the side "I don't know what you're talking about, they always call me that" "but how come you never told me about them?" "You never ask that's why". "Oh, well at least you have more friends other than your teammates" "but isn't your only friend Iwaizumi-kun?", Hinata points out "I- uh...well that's different cuz he is my bestfriend", Oikawa says proudly "well then who are your other friends?", Oikawa doesn't know how to reply to that "well um...uh...you see um those girls that I hang out with are my friends", Hinata makes a confused expression "aren't they your admirers?" (I feel like this conversation could go on and on so let's just continue to the next day)
~the next day~
Hinata wakes up late for school and is rushing to get his stuff. "Toru, do you know where the uperhalf of my uniform is?!", Oikawa was half awake just watching Hinata "I think you accidentally kicked it under my bed", Hinata looks and then puts it on "at least it's the weeke-" "I have practice tomorrow, anyways I have to go, bye", Hinata kisses Oikawa, puts on his shoes at the front door then leaves on his bike "Greeeeeaaat now I have to get up", Oikawa says sleepily and gets up. Hinata gets to school right on time and sits down in his seat right when the bell rings "phew I made it", Hinata says in relief. Later, during practice, the team is practicing their receives, but Oikawa on the other hand is on his way to Karasuno to see Hinata even though he is skipping practice.
~at Aoba Jousai~
"Hey where is Oikawa?", the coach asks and all of a sudden the temperature of the gym started to get hot, the change of temperature was coming from Iwaizumi and everyone knew it. The team knows that it won't end well with Oikawa when Iwaizumi gets him.
~At Karasuno~
Oikawa is by the gym door looking at them practicing "where is Sho-chan", he thought "one more", Oikawa hears a familiar voice in the gym and sees Hinata spiking until Kiyoko says "that's his fifth one". After practice Hinata sees a familiar figure by the front of the school, only the time that he finished practice Oikawa had already left because of Iwaizumi, but Hinta unknowingly goes to the front getting closer and closer "Oikawa?".
