What Is This Feeling?

chapter 8.

Hinata was a bit surprised that his mother approves of his relationship with him "is this why your head has been up in the clouds so often?", Hinata's mother asks with a smirk "u-um yeah", Hinata admits "well make sure that doesn't get in the way of other things", Hinata sighs and says back "It wont mom, I promise", Hinata's mother smiles "good, now you better get ready for bed you have school tomorrow" "ok mom, good night", Hinata says smiling before going upstairs. The next day Hinata woke up and goes to the bathroom and do his morning routine, goes downstairs, says goodbye to his mom and little sister and leaves. Once Hinata got to school he really couldnt stop thinking about Oikawa during practice that he sorta got hit with the ball multiple times leaving Kageyama a bit irritated because he wasn't paying any attention "Oi, boke you better pay attention", Kageyama yelled at him, Hinata got startled a bit and flinched "hey Hinata, are you ok? You seem to be spacing out a lot more than usual", Suga says in a worried tone. "I'm fine, just didn't get enough sleep", Hinata lied "oh, ok just making sure", Suga says with a smile and continues with practice. Hinata was still spacing out a bit, but not so much anymore.

~In Aoba Jousai~

Oikawa is in the middle of changing his clothes when he had an idea "I should call Sho-chan", Oikawa says to himself "hah?", Iwaizumi says with a questioning look on his face "nothing Iwa-chan", Oikawa says with a smile "it's a girl isn't it", Iwaizumi suggests with a straight face. Oikawa scoffs "no" "a guy?", Iwaizumi guesses "not telling", Oikawa says crossing his arms and looks away "why not" "you'll get mad", Iwaizumi made a straight face and sighs "I won't get mad" "promise?", Iwaizumi thinks about it. "I promise", Oikawa then leans into his ear and whispers "I'm dating Hinata", Iwaizumi then from his calm face immediately went to 'you dun fucked up' "you have 5 seconds to run to class before I beat you to bits". Oikawa then puts on the rest of his clothes and runs out of the club room for his life making sure that Iwaizumi wasn't behind him.

Time skip : to after school

Hinata was packing up his clothes when he heard a call coming from his bag. It was only him and Kageyama in there, so he guesses that it's ok since Kageyama already knows "is it him?", Kageyama asks without looking at him. Hinata looks at who's calling and it was Oikawa "yeah", Hinata says to Kageyama before picking up the phone "hello?", Hinata says expecting it was Oikawa, but another voice came on the phone sounding a bit familiar. "Is this Hinata?", it was Iwaizumi "um yes? Who are you?", Hinata says back " "this is Iwaizumi I am one of Iwaizumi's friends", Hinata was a bit confused to why Oikawa's friend, Iwaizumi, had the phone "why did you call me?" Hinata asks with concern. "I took his phone to ask you something" "um yeah sure ask away", Kageyama is listening intently to the conversation "so it has to do with Oikawa, I just want to make sure of something...aren't you with Kageyama?", Kageyama hears and bursts out laughing while Hinata is a bit surprised and is laughing a bit "y-you think I-I'm with Kageyama!?", Hinata couldnt help but to laugh at his assumption  "well? Are you?", Iwaizumi was getting impatient "n-no I'm not dating him, I'm with Oikawa", Hinata says proudly "ok, thanks for clearing that up" "you're welcome" "oh yeah and Oikawa says that he wants you to come over if you can", Iwaizumi says while holding Oikawa's head from him trying to get his phone back.

"I'll see if I can come over, tell him I'll ask my mom first" "ok I'll tell him, bye" "bye", Hinata says back and hangs up, Hinata looks back at Kageyama and sees that he is still laughing a bit to himself. "Well that was something", Kageyama says with a smirk.
