Roman smiled to himself, walking back upstairs, another golden flower in his hands. He headed upstairs and slowly knocked on the familiar door " Logan!" The prince greeted once Logan opened the door, the logical trait stepped to the side to let Roman into his room. Roman gladly walked inside and sat on Logan's bed
" Hey Lo? I got you a flower " He smiled widely, Logan smiling softly and walking over. Logan gently wrapped a hand around the stem of the fragile flower
" Thank you, Roman. I deeply appreciate your act of kindness " He stated before flinching as he was pulled into a gentle hug. He relaxed and hugged Roman back
" Hey Logan?" The nerd nuzzled his shoulder
" Yeah, Princey?"
" Do you want to get coffee with me tomorrow morning?" Logan chuckled at the cliche-ness and nodded
" Sure " This seemed to surprise Roman
" Wait, really?" Logan laughed softly and nodded again. Roman stared at him, blushing lightly
" Oh my Zeus, your laugh is beautiful " The prince blurted out, causing Logan blush too.
" Um see you tomorrow, I-I have work to do " Logan said looking away with an awkward cough
" Alright, don't overwork yourself Lo " Roman got up and left the room, happily. ' Did that really happen?'
" Soo, what'd you say? " Virgil asked, sitting on top of Roman's desk, playing on his nintendo switch
" I asked him if he wanted to get Morning Coffee with me " Roman mumbled, on his bed with a pillow over his head
" Alright then why are you being all pouty?"
" Becausseee he's pretty and he makes me nervous " He whined
" You're overreacting " Roman huffed, moving the pillow
" You're one to talk, emo nightmare " He grumbled
The next day Logan walked into a little coffee shop in the imagination while listening to Roman ramble about theatre, musicals, animals, and whatever else came to his mind. The nerd smiled softly, he loved watching the way Roman looked slightly down, furrowing his brow when he was try to think of what he'd like to order.
Now here they are sitting at table, this time it was Logan rambling. Roman was confused, not about what the nerd was saying but about how he never noticed that Logan's eyes light up with excitement when he talked about something he cared about. Logan looked at Roman, smiling widely " Uh, we should do this again saturday " He muttered, shyly glancing at the window
Roman instantly nodded "Yeah! " The prince smiled widely out of excitement, looking at Logan, happily. This caused the nerd to blush and stared downwards at his shoes. Logan messed with the dark blue bracelet around his wrist, it was a gift from Patton and it was a nervous habit of his the mess with it. " Hey Lo, wanna come with me to get more flowers?" The prince suddenly asked, looking back at Logan who immediately looked up and smiled.
"Yeah, of course, right now?" Roman nodded and stood grabbing his coffee, taking a small sip and waiting as Logan got up and gathered his books then his coffee. The prince lead the way out of the town portion of Thomas's imagination and into the gorgeous forest.
"Woah" Is all Logan managed to mutter as he gazed around. The tall trees made him feel like an ant, scurrying across the ground in search of food. Roman stopped and Logan nearly bumped into him, instantly apologizing.
" Take off your shoes " The creative side grinned, crouching down to take off his own. Logan listened and stepped out of his right shoe, gasping softly in surprise.
The grass was soft extremely soft, and the dewdrops felt like small spots of gay heaven on his skin. Logan's smile merely grew as he followed a barefoot Roman through the gentle forest. They came to a stop in a clearing, the nerd watched Roman laugh gently and let himself fall into the taller grass. Roman looked at him, a wide smile on his face.
" Come closer, Lo " The nerd listened, getting closer and holding out his hand to help Roman up. The prince grabbed his hand, however, instead of allowing Logan to pull him upwards, he pulled Logan down next to him and cuddled into his side.
Logan blushed but relaxed, leaning into Roman's touch and closing his eyes. He listened to the soft rustling of the leaves. He opened his eyes again just in time to see a small group of leaves dancing together in the wind.
After collecting flowers, the two returned to the mind palace and went upstairs " Movie?" Roman asked out of the blue as they walked into the logical side's room
" Oh, sure " Roman ended up putting on Phantom Of The Opera before he climbed onto Logan's bed, patting the spot next to him as he leaned back against the pillows. The nerd got next to Roman and laid down, watching the movie.
They didn't speak for a bit, but they did seem to stay close to each other, it was warm, a big difference to how cold Logan felt days ago. Was it suppose to be like this?
" Hey Logan?" Logan jumped slightly at the sudden words,
" Yes, Roman? " He asked, turning onto his side to look at the prince while he talked.
The creative side smiled at him " You know what you should do?" He said merely smiling more when Logan gently shook his head
" Fall in love with me "
