"Hello you must be Mrs. and Mr. L/N." Your standing with your parents holding your mothers hand. its your first day or Pre-School. "Yes. im M/N And this is my husband F/N and daughter Y/N"

Your mom picks you up. "Why Hello there little one im Miss Isabella." you smile at her. "H-Hewo.. Helwo..! Im Y-Y/N..." she smiles at you. your mother puts you down. "Go Play now Y/N" 

You nod and look around you seen alot of kids but the one that stood out most was a boy with Raven hair sitting alone... Reading..? 'Kid reading book? But this is Preschool....' you think to yourself as you approach the boy. 

You clear your throat. "Helwo! im Y/N! What's youwr Name?" you tap his shoulder. he looks up. "You.. You loowk Sad... Why awre you Sad?" his eyes widen. he just looks back down at his book. "Cawn you Teawch Me?" He looks at you.

"....Sure, But im gonna need you to try to talk clearly first... Oh Ray... By the way"

For the next few days He was teaching you all sorts of things

"Ok now say 'Hello Im Y/N, what's your name?' Clearly." you clear your throat. its been about a week and your ready for this. "Hello! im Y/N! What's your name?" you jump up. "I did it!!" you start laughing you look over to Ray and see him smiling for the first time since you met him. 

"...You should Really Smile More Ray! it looks good on you!" you poke his cheeks and he frowns. "Now. Lets start with a simple book." you nod at him "Can we do Pete the cat?" you ask He nods. "Sure those books are simple enough, i was reading one on the first day, Miss Isabella Has some on the shelf." 

You nod. He then teaches you to read. Bye this time its the middle of the year and you and ray both read at 1st grade levels. you made two other friends Emma and Norman. "Y/N How Do You Awnd Rawy Speak So Cleawly?! Anwd Reawd So Well??" Emma asks she and and Norman where laying with you and Ray at nap time. "Well I dont know about Ray , But he taught me." 

Emma's eyes light up. "Reawly??" you nod "But anyway... its nap time so im gonna nap" Emma and Norman nod. "I can read you a story if you want Y/N..." your eyes light up. "Really?? Thank you Ray!"

Skip to the next day you see ray sitting outside reading a book during play time.

"Hey Ray!" He looks up "Oh.. Y/N" something wrong ray? he shakes his head. "No but i do have a question..." you tilt your head to the side confused. "Uh.. Ok. Shoot." 

"Y/N... when we grow up.. promise to marry me...." your eyes light up. "Of course!"

That was about 14 years ago, your turning 18 soon, Ray moved away after 1st grade but you intend to keep your promise. "Emma! Imma head out!" you yell to your roommate. "Wait! your going to explore campus right?? let me come with! we can even stop by Normans dorm and meet his roommate!" 

You sigh and nod. "You might even get a boyfriend..??" she says quietly walking up to you. "Emma, I made a promise I intend to keep..."

She sighs "At least consider it... you haven't seen him in12 years..." You just ignore her and walk out. "Hey! Hey! Wait up!" she runs after you.

"Alright, Normans dorm then explore." you remind yourself walking to the boys dormitory. Emma knocks on her boyfriends door. "Norm! you there?!" 

You hear a sigh from the room, knowing that its not Norman you pull Emma back so that you two dont seem rude. the boy opens the door. "If your looking for my roommate h-" he stops when he sees you. 

He stares into your E/C eyes then at your H/C hair back to your Eyes. "Something Wrong...?" He just stares at you. "Uhm.... anyway... Im Y/N and this is my roommate and bestfriend Emma, Her boyfriend is your roommate."

He looks as if he's thinking about something he then shakes your hand. "Im Ray" you look taken aback. "Guess that means you remember, i knew you were perfect." 

You blink "I- You- Emma its- HA I TOLD YOU WAITING FOR HIM WOULD PAY OFF!" Emma sighs.
