I fell by the wayside, like everyone else.

You were sitting in the corner of the library, You knew about the farm.. only you and Ray.. you also knew he would be getting shipped soon... you here someone walk in.

"I Hate her, i hate her, i hate her! ....Im just kidding myself.."

You stay in the corner, you haven't been noticed yet, thankfully. dont feel like getting into another argument..

"Our every moment.. I'll start to replace.."
Cuz now that your gone i lie here with the words that i needed to say.

You sit there as you watch Ray pick up YOUR Favorite book, F/B.
"You hurt under the surface..."

Like troubled water running cold..

Ray sits down and starts reading, you see a tear run down his face, you hear him mumble,

"Well time can heal but this wont..."

He lowers him head so he is leaning on the table, you argue with yourself between getting up and staying there. in the end, you decide to get up. you walk up to the table Ray is at and sit across from him. you look down, as you are unnoticed for now.

"So... Before you go.."

You start, he looks up at you. he was about the say something, but you continued, which cut him off. you looked up at him, then away towards the door.

"Was there something i could have said to make your heart beat better..? if only i had know the whole time you were the storm to weather.."

You look over at him slowly.. He looks back at you. "..Y/N..." you look down. "..." you decide to continue on what you were saying before.

"So... Before you go... Was there something i could have said to make it all stop hurting...? It kills me how your mind can make you feel so worthless.. So.. before you go.."

'Yes.. all the memories.. they.. they're useless..! Ray shouldn't have them! he could be happy if he didn't..! if he didn't.. maybe we.. No..' you think to yourself then you reach your hand out and put it on top of his. "Ray.. Im sorry it had to be this way.." He looks down at his hand then back up at you. "..me to Y/N.."

Was never the right time.. whenever you called.

Over the course of the next week you tried to get Ray to play tag with you and the kids.. Or even read a book with you... he was always with 'mama' tho..

Went little by little by little until there was nothing at all.

You stopped after a week, ray would be leaving The next day...

Our every moment.. i started to play..

it was finally time for ray to leave Everyone said goodbye except for you when he was about to leave you ran and hugged him.. He looked... terrified.. and hurt.. the whole time until you hugged him...

But all i could think about and all i see is the look on your face..

You tried to think about something else.. ANYTHING else.. but you couldn't the expression He wore when he was leaving hurt you...
the next day you REFUSED to leave your room... so Emma was in there with you.. "Was there something up with ray..?" she asked thinking- No KNOWING somehow you knew the answer.

"When he hurt under the surface.. Like Troubled water running cold..."

You look over at Emma.. you could tell she was confused. "What do you mean Y/N...?"

"Well time can heal but this wont.."

You look up and you see him... "Ray..?" No response... "Y/N..? Rays gone.." You shook your head at her but said nothing.. you walk up to 'Ray'

"So... Before you go.! Was there something i coulda said to make your heart beat better?!"

Emma got up. "...Y/N Ray is GONE!!" She falls to the floor... crying.. you do to..

"If only i had know you had a storm to weather.."

Loud sobs could be heard throughout the house.. Everyone was outside.. so no one actually heard.. only you and Emma.. you Yell through sobs.

"S-So..! Before.. You go..!! Wa-Was there.. something I could-Could've Said..! to Make I-Its All-All Stop... Hur-Hurting..!! It-It Kills me...! How you-your mind can make...! you fee-feel so worthless....!" 

You look up.. and He's gone.. "R-Ray..?" you mumble "Ray..?! Wh-Where did you go.?!" You feel someones hand on your back. "..Ra-" you get  interrupted. "Y/N! Rays Gone! H-He's Gone.."

So... Before you go...

"Wh-What..? B-But.. i just seen him..." you mumble in a barely audible voice. "I-Its the same as Norman Y/N.." She responds.. "..O-Oh.."

-Ray POV/Flashback-

I walk out the house With... 'Mama'.. but i cant stop wondering..

'Would we be better off by now.. If i had let my walls come down..?'

I sigh and put my head down as we walk. 'Mama' smiles at me. "Something wrong Ray?" I shake my head no after a few seconds.

Maybe i guess we'll never know.. you know.. you know...

"..'Mama'.." I look up at her as we reach the gate. "Yes Ray?"

"Before i go.."

I turn to face the gate. "Can you make sure to tell Y/N... That.. I love her..?" 'Mama' Looked surprised. then she softly smiled opening the gate. "Sure Ray."

As i walk in.. One of those.. Things come out with a not yet bloomed white flower.. and stab my chest... The only thing i can think about.. Is Y/N..

-End of Rays POV/Flashback-

"Emma.." She looked at you as you were walking outside, 'mama' Called for you.

"Was there something i could've said to make his heart beat better..?"

She looked down and stopped walking. You stopped a few feet in front of her. 

If only i had known you had a storm to weather..

"Y/N.. You did your best.. He tried pushing you away.. not the other way around.." she starts walking again. "..." You walk after her.

So.. Before you go..

You think more about it as you and Emma are almost to 'mama'

'Was there something i could've said to make it all stop hurting..'

You think to yourself, when you reach mama She Gets on one knee so that she's your height.

"Oh Y/N... It kills me how your mind could make you feel so.. worthless.."

She then looks you dead in the eye.. you look away. "Ray... Wanted me to tell you That.. He loves you." You look back at her. "...!"

I honestly put a lot more effort in this than i would have if not for my English teacher telling me that if she likes this story, like the punctuation and details and stuff that she would give me and extra 5 points on my next HW assignment, Or that if i just do it in general ill get 2 Extra points so 👀
