After Callum left the group tried interrogating winter. She left quickly after and ran to the nearest lake, with a witches spell Winter turned the freezing cold lake into a burning hot pool. She stripped down to bare and walked into the steaming water. She swam around mindlessly and stopped in her tracks and floated there.

Callum crossed her mind, they dated for years and she believed she loved him but in the end he had only used her to get close to her father. After Callum had successfully done that, her father dropped her and shipped her off to live with her grandfather. Winter was never good enough for him, she didn't want to fight or kill so she was useless.

An hour felt like five minutes being in that lake. "It's not good to stare." Winter yelled. She moved her head up to see Nolan watching her.

"Winter anyone could see you, what are you doing!" He replied clearly irritated.

"Do you like what you see." She giggled teasingly. Nolan ignored her and rolled his eyes. "Lighten up Nolan, nobody ever goes here." She scoffed swimming too the land. "How'd you even find me?" She stood directly in-front of him and squeezed her hair, dripping the water onto her bare body.

Nolan couldn't help but stare. He was mesmerised by her body. It was gorgeous. "I saw you walk out of the clinic and you looked mad so i followed you. Who is Callum and what is this whole thing with your dad i want you to tell me everything." He sternly ordered. Winter was kind of shocked, nolan was never a dominant type.

"I don't want to tell you about my Father and Callum is just someone i used to know, i didn't ever want to see him again." She answered sorta truthfully. She got changed back into her shirt and jeans and Nolan handed her his hoodie to keep her warm. She reversed her spell and started walking off. Nolan felt the water and looked at her with a very confused look.

He follows after her but doesn't say anything for a while. "You dropped this." He said handing her the box Callum gave her. She snatched it off of him and nodded her head to say thank you. "What is it."

"The bracelet my mother was wearing the night.. The night she was murdered." Nolan went silent. He felt his heart drop. Winters face was monotone, there was no emotion. He didn't dare say another word after that so they walked in silence, side by side.

Nolan wanted to take her hand and intertwine it with his but he had no clue how she felt about him. She never showed him her feelings and it confused him but he never wanted to anger her by asking.

They stopped off at Nolan's home. It was an awkward walk but he was determined not to leave on a bad note.  "Would you like to come in? I'll make you some food?"

Winter stared at him and her lips formed a straight line "Not tonight." Was all she said before she left and walked home by herself. Nolan watched her walk down the street almost in shock.
