Chapter 2 - Sophie

"I can't believe I just did that," Sophie said, her hand still covering her mouth

"I can't believe you were going to marry a human! A human!" Keefe said

Sophie looked at him

Did he seriously just say that?

Sophie decided to shrug it off and she sat down, resting her head in her hand

"Gosh, I have no idea why I said that, sorry, Sophie," Keefe said, as he sat down across from her

"No... it's fine... I have a hard time believing that too," Sophie replied

"You hungry?" Keefe asked

Sophie nodded

"Don't worry; I work here," he said

Sophie laughed. "You work?"

"Yeah, why do you sound so surprised?" Keefe asked jokingly

"You don't seem the work type," Sophie clarified

Keefe rolled his eyes and yelled in his confusing accent: "Hey Cody, bring the salad!"

"You got it!" Cody replied, which turned some heads

Sophie laughed. "You speak english?"

"Yeah, learned it, for you," Keefe answered

Sophie stopped laughing

"You learned it for me?"

"Yeah," Keefe answered and rubbed his hands together, stuck his tongue out when the salads came. "Thanks, Cody,"

The brown head looked down at him. "Taking a break again?"

Keefe laughed and reached up to pat his back. "Yep! Fifth one today,"

Cody rolled his eyes and whistled when his gray eyes met Sophie's

Sophie blushed

"Name's Cody," he said shaking her hand

"Sophie," she said shyly, she blushed even hard when as his face light up

"You look-"

"Okay time to go!" Keefe said as he pushed Cody and he stumbled forward

"Jeez, dude, didn't know she was yours," Cody said as he walked away

Sophie blushed even harder

Keefe rolled his eyes at him as he stuffed his face with the salad

"So.. why did you decide to learn english; because of me?"

"It's because," he paused to fill his mouth with salad. "I mmh mmh"

"What?"

"Because I mmh-"

"Keefe! I know you know I can't understand you!"

Keefe smirked when he swallowed his salad

"So? Tell me,"

"I think you already know," Keefe answered

Sophie thought for a minute, but nothing came to her mind

"I have literally no clue,"

Keefe grinned- it looked like he was having fun with this. "Okay... I'll give you three hints,"

"Come on Keefe! Can't you just tell me?"

"Nope!"
