As time passed, there had been many more sightings of the blonde cat and many attempts to capture and kill it. Traps, swords, bow and arrows, you name it, it had been tried. Yet to the dismay of the townsfolk, none of these had worked the feline had flawlessly avoided any attempt to gain the key.

No matter how hard people tried, they couldn't get anywhere near the cat without it running away for elegant dodging their attacks. In fact, sometimes it almost seemed to mock the men and women of the village, scurrying out of range but keeping insight with a smug grin plastered on its face.

As time went on, more and more people started to get frustrated by being taunted by the dusty blonde feline. The red ribbon around it neck, darting away just as you thought you had caught the cat. It was infuriating, to say the least.

After weeks of this challenge going on, people started dropping out one by one. Along with the fact that Kinoshita hadn't been seen ever since he had started the challenge, the fact that they were being outsmarted by an animal gave the townsfolk some sense of failure.

While fewer and fewer people continued hunting the feline, there were those with a fiery passion who refused to give up, coming to the decision to devote their current life to hunting down the irritating cat.

While this pandemonium stirred up arguments and fights in the small town, the keen-eyed cat watched from a distance with a smirk plastered on its face, enjoying the entertainment.

It was only a year later when a man by the name of Kazuhito Narita moved in did things started to shift and change, giving hope for the townsfolk that this mystery may be solved.
