a young female character blinded from love, a character who's never felt it, had a simple taste of it— well atleast she thinks she did until she meets a young gentleman where her life soon spirals- in good ways and bad. yelena is 15.

chastain family

rich but peculiar family, darkness lies beneath the walls of their manor, a dark force, a lovely family secret, until an outsider joins them and it's unveiled and all hell breaks loose.

adham chastain

boy of 16- orphaned but has a grandmother, sweet to those who deserve it, yearns for touch, perhaps a soft boy underneath all those layers of a hard, cold heart, which he seems to be good at keeping- he likes to keep his feelings locked away.

florence chastain

an sweet old woman, she's lived her life in the manor since her childhood, she wants the best for adham, but he can be a bit rebellious. wants a simple feeling of peace, which can be hard to catch at times but keeps a smile even when she's at her worst.
