Nozel finally found who he was looking for, he requested her presence back at their castle but she didn't come, so he guessed she must have tried to have taken the exam.
"What do you think you're doing?" He called addressing his presence which startled the girl to turn around, she had silver hair done in two pigtails and a short purple dress covered by a white one. Her eyes were the same shade of purple like his but hers reflected nervousness and a hint of fear
Noelle Silva was her name, too many she was known as the failure of House Silva due to her not being able to control her magic, she gulped and stuttered
"I-I-I was just"
"there is no need for you to partake in this exam, we are royalty, there is no need to partake in this exam. especially with your useless excuse of magic and grimoire why are you still trying, you're a disgrace of House Silva and now you wish to disgrace us more?"
Noelle was now shaking clutching her broom to her chest, Nozel noticed this and turned around ready to make his way back to the balcony before adding
"I'll give you one chance to redeem yourself, when the final test arrives, challenge the Wind Magic user with the four leaf grimoire, do this and I might think about letting you join the Silver Eagles. Can you do that?"
Noelle quickly composed herself before responding "y-yes! I promise you won't be disappointed brother, I'll make sure to send that commoner back to whatever back water town he came from" she was royalty after all, losing to a commoner would be like making a simple pie and burning it and ruining it in front of everyone
"your very existence is a disappointment" with that being said he walked away leaving Noelle to her thoughts and to await for the final test
BACK WITH YUNO
So far Yuno passed with flying colors the other tests so far were proven easy, a test of power, control, creation, and evolution. All of which he managed just fine, now came the final test, Captain Fuegoleon rose from his chair and roared
"YOU WILL ALL BE SPARRING! COMBAT IS ONE OF A MAGIC KNIGHTS TOUGHEST CHALLENGE THAT YOU MUST FACE EVERYDAY! GET INTO PAIRS AND FIGHT IT OUT"
everyone started to find pairs to battle it out with, many of the applicants avoiding Yuno mainly due to being a four leaf, he was then approached by a girl with silver hair styled in pigtails and an arrogant spoiled persona to boot
"hey you commoner face me" Yuno raised an eyebrow and sighed internally 'oh great a royal'
"what's wrong? scared to fight royalty, or is that grimoire and cocky attitude just for decoration" she tried to do a mocking laugh to further intimidate him but Yuno wasn't buying it.
"seriously" he replied "thats the best facade you can put up?" the girl was surprised at first but she coughed and threw her pigtail back with a wave of her hand
"don't question me cocky peasant. So are you going to accept my challenge or are you too scared?
Yuno shrugged and accepted the challenge.
Throughout the whole the final test, combatants fought each other. Spells flying across the whole arena and only one combatant still standing after each match.
This continued until there was only Yuno and the silver girl who proceeded into the middle of the ring to announce themselves
"state your names" the referee announced
"Yuno" he responded, he heard multiple whispers across the arena
"whoa so he's the four leaf from the boonies
