Chapter 10

1 year later
I was in the bathroom of mine and Jay's house. On the phone with Juillet
"What if it's positive?" I asked
"Then Thomas and Kelly are uncles and Jay's a dad," She said
"How I tell Jay?" I  asked
"I don't know," she said
The timer on my phone went off
"The 3 minutes are up," I said
I turned over the test and was shocked the word pregnant on the test after 6 month I was pregnant with mine and Jay's kid
"Ada what dose it say?" Juillet asked
"Im pregnant," I said
"Ada your going to be a mom," she said
"I know," I said
I heard the front door open and paws running in
"Think the dads," I said
"Go tell him," she said
I hung up and walked downstairs to the kitchen where I knew Jay was I already crying
"Adri what wrong?" He asked
I grabbed the test out of my pocket and hand to him
"Wait your pregnant," he said
"Yeah we're going to be parents," I said
He hugged me and kissed my forehead
"Jay your dad," I said
"And your a mom," he said
"Should we Beretta?" I asked
"Yes she's a big sister," He said
"Beretta," I called
She came running in
"Beretta sit," I said
She sat I bent down next to her
"Your going to be a big sister," I said
She started wagging her tail back and forth
12 week mark
We're about to tell my brother's that they we're uncles we told Will the day before he was so happy and Jay is in love the bump now hiding it from 51 is hard because we'll they see every angle and Boden hasn't been sending me into big fires I help Brett and Mackey now I did tell Brett but only because if I get hurt which I haven't she should know. We we're at home waiting for my brothers we might have gotten Beretta a bandana that says big sister. We didn't put it on her yet because she always has bandana on when she not working so if we say I forgot to put the new bandana on and then bring her into the bedroom then Kelly and Thomas will be curious about the new one and look at it. We heard a knock. Jay went to go get the. I was enjoying the nice Chicago summer weather outside
"See this why we never see her," Kelly said
"No it's nice out," I said
Not looking up from my book. If it was nice I would read out side and I was reading Becoming
"She loves reading," Jay said
"I do maybe more then you," I said
"No I love you more then my truck," he said
I smiled I liked hearing him get defensive of loving me.more then his truck even when he knew I loved him more then reading
"You know I love you more then reading," I said
"Wow and thought I had issues with loving my car," Kelly said
"Jay did you put Beretta new bandana on her? I asked
"No I forgot," he said
I put my book mark on the page and set my book down
"Beretta," I called
We walked in side and to the bedroom so I could put on her new bandana she was so proud when she got new bandanas so this was going to be fun after I put it on her we went back out side
"Beretta let's see the new bandana," Kelly said
She trotted over to him and Thomas looked at the bandana and got big eye and looked at
"What," I said
"No don't what us," they said
"Our little sister is pregnant," Kelly said
"I thought they we're getting another dog," Thomas said
"Maybe another fur baby one day," Jay said
"One day," I said
"Jay finally did it," Kelly said
"No we said we would never speak of that," Jay said
"Jay.. Got... My Sister.. Pregnant," Kelly said
"No he knocked me up," I said
"Wow," Juillet said
"Just why?" Thomas asked
"Because," I said
30 weeks
We found out we're having a baby girl we have started the nursery and stroller training with Beretta Jay can't wait to meet her. I'm now doing 911 calls at headquarters not my favorite but Boden say I can come after she 3 month old I miss the crazy firehouse but gives me and Jay more time together before she comes
"We need a name," I said
"Cameron, Hadley, Hazl, Liv, Mia, Avery, Cassidy, Ava, Lillian, Lilith, Maya," Jay listed off
"I can't choose," I said
"Well we said the middle name would be Rayann," he said
"Yeah," I said
"So Cameron Rayann Halstead," He said
"I can elmate Liv, Cassidy, Ava, Lillian, and Lilith," I said
Okay so now we have 6 names," he said
"I really like Hadley and Cameron," I said
"I do to," He said
"So now it's two names," I said
"Yep," he said
8 months
"Jay did we just pick a name?" I asked
"Yeah Cameron it is," he said
"I love it Cameron Rayann Halstead," I said
"Our baby girl," Jay said
"She's going to be daddy's girl," I said
"Maybe," he said
"How do.like me being home when you get home?" I asked
"I love it," he said
"I was still working I get so bored," I said
"What about reading?" He asked
"She makes it difficult," I said
"Do make.reading difficult for mommy?" Jay asked the bump
"She does," I said
He came behind me and wrapped his arms around my neck I leaned into his shoulder
39 weeks
"Jay she coming," I said
"She coming like right now?" He asked
"Yes Jay," I said
After we.got ready we head to med
"Kellys on 24," I said
"And it's 1 am," Jay said
Once we got checked we're in a room Jay held my hand my most of the time he left when they gave gave me the eperdrul seeing as he hates needles. He came back in
"I'm sorry," he said
"No you hate needles," I said
"I do," he said
After about 3 hours I gave birth to our baby girl Cameron Rayann Halstead
"Hi baby girl," Jay said
"She so cute," I said
"Like her mom," Jay said kissing me
