In most high schools, football is the sport to play. West Lake High School didn't have pride for the football players though, it was all for the West Lake Warrior Hockey Team.
Katie Kebbel grew up around hockey her whole life but that doesn't mean that she knows how to even skate. Her brother used to be the team's captain last year, now he's the assistant coach, and their new captain of the West Lake Warrior's is a childhood playmate, Nick. Yes, this was the highest you could get at West Lake. They are undefeated for five years straight, though most chalk that up to Katie's brother.
But what happens when the rival High School Buffdale Bobcats, the archrival of West Lake, call in a new mysterious goalie?
What happens when Nick expresses his love for Katie? Will she be able to express it back or will the new goalie, Troy Roghaar's haunting eyes be the only thing she can think about?
