Hello, Readers!
So I've been having this idea of a story about a girl and high school hockey. As of right now, I have no idea how this story is even going to end! Which is a first for me.
So as I'm writing it will be all new to me as well as you!
Please let me know how you feel about the story!

The first game of the season is always packed and full of energy. I mean, who isn't excited for hockey to be back in season? Although this was a rare close game, which was one of the reasons why I knew that this was going to be at night that I would remember. Our team was a well know team for having undefeated seasons. No one was prepared to find out this team recruited a new goalie and he was good. I'm not positive but I was pretty sure that our West Lake Warriors were getting extremely frustrated with the challenge of the Buffdale Bobcats. I, on the other hand, was thrilled. It's been a long time since I've seen a heated game and the look on my brother's face was priceless.
My brother, Scott Kebbel, used to be the captain of the Warriors when he was in high school only two years ago. He was the player, the coach, and a brother to everyone on the team. He was quiet and didn't say much of anything. He wasn't one to boast about his incredible talent but when he gave you advice or a tip on how to get the perfect shot, you listened and wrote it all down. I mean, what he said was pure gold. He never got frustrated or impatient when he was helping someone get the perfect slap shot. No one argued with what my brother would teach, simply because what he said was thought out and, in the end, always right. That's why his old coaches asked Scott back to the rink as an assistant coach when he graduated High School. Of course he got offers to actually play on other teams though college and even travel teams, I mean huge deals, but he couldn't accept them. And we all knew why.
Tonight was not the brother that I usually saw. He was pacing in the small box running his hands through his brown grown out hair. Scott Kebbel never showed any emotion but silent contention. I couldn't help but smile just a little bit. I knew he wanted to go out there and finish the game. I knew he was itching to play in this heated battle but more than anything I knew he was wishing he could get over to the players bench instead of being in the penalty box with one of our players. Mostly so that he could share his ideas on how to get another goal.
My brother and I were what you could say total opposites. He liked to think things through and keep his mind clear. Where I get all caught up in the action with my emotions in the way. Although when it came down to it, he could handle the pressure of hundreds of people staring at him where I couldn't even read a paragraph out loud in class.
My head snapped back to the game when I heard the referee whistle but I already knew that it was gonna be yet another bogus call against us.
"COME ON!" I yelled at the closest referee,"Are you SERIOUSLY gonna let he keep calling those ridiculous calls?"
"One more word and you're out, Kebbel. I don't care who your brother is!" He yelled back at me
Once he turned away, I made sure to flip him the double bird, then promptly sit back down. I looked back to Scott only to see him already giving me his famous look that read "Knock-It-Off" without even opening his mouth. It's the same look that he's always gaven me since we were kids.
I rolled my eyes and looked up at the scoreboard to see the score of one for Warriors and two for Bobcats with a rough five minutes left. It was about to get insainly hectic.
The referee blew his whistle again and dropped the puck. Our current captain, Nick snags the puck on the break away and bolts down the rink towards the Bobcat's goalie.
