Friday passed slowly for the girls. It was hard not to think about the concert the next day. Time seemed to stop a couple of times. Finally it was Saturday morning. Olivia called Becky first thing.
"Hello?"
"Becky it's me. Guess what? We'll be seeing One Direction in twelve hours."
"I know. Aren't you being a little obsessive?"
"Maybe. I need to stop thinking about it. I don't want to be a fan girl."
"I don't think you could ever be like one of them."
"I sure hope not. Well, I have a babysitting job I've got to get ready for. See you in ten hours."
"Okay. See you then. Bye." Becky hung up the phone. She had to admit she was just as excited as Olivia. Unfortunately for Becky her day was empty till five when she would go over to Olivia's house to get ready for the concert at seven. They would leave the house at six and arrive at the concert no later than six thirty. They planned it all the day before. Becky got out of bed and went into the kitchen to get some breakfast.
A few streets over Olivia was getting into her car to go to her babysitting job. She cranked the car and backed out of her driveway. One Direction was playing in her CD player. She sang along to the songs. It reminded her of a All-State choir tour she went on with Becky. They had listen to One Direction all the way from Georgia to Washington D.C. Olivia turned into the driveway of the house where she was babysitting at and parked the car.

It was five o'clock and Becky was at Olivia's back door knocking. Olivia answered the door and the girls went to her room. Becky had brought over her clothes so they could get ready together. They changed and put on a little make-up. Neither girl wore a lot. They didn't want to look fake.
"Are you driving?" asked Olivia.
"Sure. I'm also spending the night with you tonight." Becky responded.
"Good. Glad your parents said you could."
"They said yes because we didn't know what time we would be back and they didn't want me driving by myself."
"That makes sense."
Becky looked at the clock and saw it was time to leave. They went out to the car and got in. After a fifteen minute drive they made it to the concert.
"We're here." said Becky as she turned into the parking lot. The parking lot was already packed. It took them another twenty minutes to find a parking spot. It was at the very back. The girls half ran, half walked to the concert. When they got there the man working the tickets took theirs and gave them the VIP lanyards. Becky and Olivia smiled as they put them on.
"We look so important." said Olivia.
"I know. Let's go find our seat."
They walked into the auditorium. It was almost already full. There were girls everywhere. The noise level was almost over powering. The girls had to weave through many people before they found their seats in the middle to the left of the stage. They sat down and waited. Soon the lights started to dim. Olivia and Becky stood up. The room was now completely black and the air was full of excited screams form five thousand girls. Becky's and Olivia's included.
Becky looked at where Olivia was standing. "Did we just scream?"
"We must have. My throat hurts."
