{5} long goodbyes and sad returns

The next week at the Burrow went by so fast, and soon enough Bill, Charlie and Hannah were saying goodbye to the kids returning to Hogwarts at King's Cross Station.

"Be good this year!" chided Mrs. Weasley. Hannah grinned at Ginny, her eyes twinkling. "I might see you sooner than you think." "Wait what? Why?" demanded Ron. Charlie laughed "We cannot tell you but-" "You're in for an interesting year" finished Bill "I might even come see some of it." Hannah nodded "I know I will." Mrs. Weasley smiled and then ushered the kids on the train "Be safe!" she shouted as the train pulled out of sight.

Hannah turned back to Bill and Charlie and smiled "Should we head back?" They nodded and with a pop they all returned to The Burrow.

Later that day in the afternoon, Hannah came into the living room wearing her coat. "Hey- I'm going into Diagon Alley for a bit to pick up a few things before I leave. Does anyone want to come with me?" Bill stood up, "I'll come. I need a couple of books for work. Charlie?" Charlie was curled up on the couch reading a book about dragons. "Oh I'm alright, you two go ahead." Hannah grinned "See you Char." and walked into the front room "Do you need a coat? It's a bit chilly." she asked Bill. He smiled and flicked his wand and his coat was in his hand the next second.

The two apparated to Diagon Alley, and their first stop was at Flourish and Blotts so Bill could get his books.

"A Curse Breaker's Guide to Household Objects?" asked Hannah, peering over his shoulder "That sounds boring." He turned to face her and chuckled "You're boring." Hannah grinned "That's your comeback? Jesus Bill." She laughed and left him alone to look at books.

After he had paid, they walked to the store that sold quills and parchment. Hannah stocked up on those and then they went to the Leaky Cauldron for a coffee. "What can I get for you?"asked their server. "Can I get a coffee with 1 cream 2 sugar?" asked Hannah. The server wrote it down and turned to Bill "I'll just get a cup of black coffee, thanks." and the server walked away. "That's boring. Just black coffee?" asked Hannah. Bill laughed, "Jeez I must be really boring to you Han." Hannah grinned "No you're not, just your choices are."

When they got back to the Burrow, Hannah began to pack up her things because she was returning to Greece the next day. Bill was also packing because he was going back to Egypt. Charlie, had an extra week before he had to go back to Romania.

{the next day}

Hannah woke up the next morning and put on her clothes, grabbed her travelling cloak and headed downstairs. Bill and Charlie were already at the kitchen table eating breakfast. "Do you want anything dear?" asked Molly as Hannah sat down next to Charlie. "Can I just have a coffee Molly? Apparating right after eating makes me hurl." Molly nodded and handed her a cup. "Where do you stay in Greece, Han?" asked Bill, taking a bite out of his toast. "I have an apartment to myself." she responded. "Doesn't that get lonely?" asked Molly, who was now cleaning up around the table. Hannah shook her head, "No, not really. It's quite peaceful." she smiled.

About half an hour later, breakfast was done and both Bill and Hannah had transported their luggage back to Greece and Egypt, and were ready to go. "Thank you for everything Molly." said Hannah as she gave her a hug "Oh it was nothing dear." responded Mrs. Weasley. Bill gave his Mum a hug and the two went outside, followed by Charlie. Hannah turned to Charlie outside and grinned "Don't do anything stupid when I'm gone." Charlie laughed, "How could I? You're taking all the stupid with you." Hannah laughed and gave him a hug "I'll see you in a month in Romania." "See you then squirt." Charlie gave his brother a hug and went back inside.

Hannah turned to Bill, "Well. This is it." she grinned. "Yep. Write me sometime, we'll arrange a visit." he responded. They gave each other their office postal information and hugged. Then with a pop they both returned to their place of work.
