I've been at the Diggory's house for a few days now. And I would be leaving in about three days to go to the Weasley's. Im really excited, Ron and I have been sending letters back and forth. Anyways, I was getting out of bed to change my clothes when I heard Cedric running up the stairs and open my door.

"Ceddriiccc, the light please," I said covering my hands over my eyes to block the light coming in.

"Oh, come one Y/N," he said walking up to me and pulling my hands off my eyes.

"What do you want," I replied, slowly opening my eyes.

"Mum wants us to go to Diagon Alley, today," he said.

"Why today, school isn't for another two weeks?" I asked him.

"I don't know. She said there is something big going on next week and something happening at the school, that she and Dad need to help with, and she doesn't want me to go all alone next week," he said, shrugging his shoulders. I nodded back at him and he left the room and shut my door.

I got dressed in a pair or jeans and a regular black shirt, grabbed my robe and headed to the kitchen. I saw Cedric already standing by the fireplace and walked up to him.

"Here take this," he said handing her the Floo powder.

"Tell me, dear Cedric, why you decided, when picking me up, that we should ride our broomsticks here?"I asked angrily.

"Hmmm... well... I actually never thought about it," he said, innocently.

"This is why I'm the brains," I said, stepping into the fireplace.

"Then what am-" he began to say.

"DIAGON ALLEY!" I yelled, interrupting him. To be honest I didn't want to answer the question because he was neither brain nor brawns.

I felt my self lift off the ground for a second before landing in another fireplace. I landed kind of harshly and stumbled out of the fireplace. I ran into a bookcase full of wands.

"Hey Mr. Ollivander," I called out.

I heard footsteps then, " Y/N Harpis, pleased to see you," he said, surveying the dusk on my robes, he probably assumed I just came through Floo powder. I waited there for another minute until Cedric came out of the fireplace. We walked towards the front door, said goodbye to Mr. Ollivander and made our way to Flourish and Blotts.

By the time we got back to Cedric's house it was time for dinner already. "Ced, where are your parents?" I asked him.

"Mum, Dad, we are home," he called out. There was no answer. He shrugged at me and started walking towards the stairs.

"Woah, woah, woah where do you think you're going," I said, surprised at his reaction. I stepped in front of him and put my hand to his chest to stop him from walking.

He looked down at my hand, stifled a laugh and said, "I am not hungry now."

"Well I'm bloody starving," I said, removing my hand from his chest. He shrugged again and walked past me. "What am I supposed to eat then!" I hollered at him.

"There is some in the fridge," he said, half yawning. He continued to walk up the stairs as I ran to the fridge to find something to eat. I found leftovers and decided that was the best thing to eat. I took out a plate and put some food on it and started eating. I was in the midst of eating, when I heard something fly through the window.

I saw Ivory swoop down and hand me a letter, then fly to my bedroom. I scrambled to finish eating and ripped open the letter. I haven't heard from Ron in days. I opened it to see that it was not Ron's handwriting.
