Normalties and Other School Oddities

__--Chapter 1; First Day--__

Normally, At the beginning of school I would be nervous, Not this time. 8th grade. Huh. I thought it'd be scarier than this. But no, of course being at the top of our school 'Food Chain' is actually pretty decent... For now that is... Ha. Anyways, I spot kalleigh sitting on our gym steps.

"Aubrey?" she says, apparently shocked. "kal?!" I said happily. "don't remember you being so short four eyes!" someone yelled at me. I turned sharply and glared at the kid who said it. "Excuse me?!" I screeched. Looking at the fear in his eyes said he's very scared. He trembled and walked up to me. "S-Sorry!" he managed to squeak out. "humph! Away kiddy!" I screeched my most frightening screech.

I turned back to kalleigh and grinned. Perfect. I am not starting my year off on a bad note. "so, how have you been?" I asked happily, forgetting about the boy. "great!" she yelled.
