RIGHT so now back to the book :)

...

We walked into the training facility, an empty room with hard concrete for a floor. A person, almost like a brick, walked to the front. He turned towards us.

"This place is made out of concrete so I can manipulate it to any training scenario we need." I turned back and touched the ground, the concrete wavering at his touch. Individual pillars growing in front of our eyes. My eyes widened in awe.

Are people normally this powerful here?  The thought makes my blood run cold. He could easily level cities with one touch of the ground.

If he's so powerful, why am I such a threat?

"Each one of you gets a pillar to work on, and a clone." Another man stepped forward, a large smile pasted on his masked face. His large trenchcoat made me uneasy. Suddenly, a gas seeped from his mouth. It formed into clones of himself.

"Go ahead and choose your clone. You will train with these to create a special move." Everyone started moving, grabbing their clone, and choosing a pillar. I walked forward grabbing my clone by the arm. I looked up, trying to see where I could train.

"Hey, Y/n, you don't have to create a special move today,  just try to get a feel for your quirk, alright?" I nodded as an angry blond yelled my nickname, pointing to a platform next to him. It made me smile for a second before I made my way to the pillar. Why was everyone treating me like a baby?

Abruptly, the concrete below me started to lift, bringing me to the top quickly. I smiled at the brickman and he nodded in response.

"Oi, Nightlight, try not to make a total fool out of yourself." Bakugo snickered, kicking the clone, almost testing it.

"I could say the same for you, but you do it almost every day," I smirked at him as his face bent into a scowl. I looked around, people already at work. Mina's acid spraying onto the clone and it easily fading.

Momo creating weapons quickly, easily downing her clone.

Asui wrapping her tongue around her clone and squeezing tightly without even so much as blinking.

Uraraka easily floating up some pebbles and hurtling them at the clone.

Am I the only one who can't use my quirk correctly? I thought maybe they were figuring it out. I didn't think I would be so far behind. Who am I kidding, everyone here deserves to be here, but me...

I looked at the clone. How do I hurt this without knocking it off the pillar?  I backed up to the edge of the platform, aiming my hands down at the ground. I willed the power to fill my veins as the air around me became all the more noticeable. I pushed it away from me, launching me into the air. I squeaked as I hurdled towards the clone.

Focus. I pushed the air a little to keep my level as I got ready to punch the fake clone.

Pull back, and elbow, using your back foot to push off.

I readied the air under my foot. I growled as I got closer to him, pushing the air from my foot, my fist colliding with the clone. Light exploded on contact as I hit the ground hard, sliding towards the edge.

Didn't plan for the landing.

My feet slid off the side, causing me to topple backward off the concrete. I yelped as I pushed the air from my palms, launching me into the air again. I landed in the middle of the platform, my legs wobbly. The clone had disappeared, leaving me proud.
