"AVAAAAA" I called out getting no answer "BAAAABEEEEE" I still got no answer "AMANDA AVA KOCI GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW AND WATCH THIS MOVIE WITH ME"
"I'M COMING
she got down there and started watching black beauty with me
Ava's POV
as we're about 50 minutes into the movie she pauses the movie screams out "OH MY GOD IT'S JO!" seeing the girl the horse had created a relationship with at the beginning of the movie "YO BEAUTY SHE'S RIGHT THERE" she yelled out again, since the horse didn't even see her
"y/n, honey she can't hear you"
"I know"
"you know at least you don't mess up the movie by saying some boring shit like 'tHaT's A bAsIc SuSpEnSe BuIlDeR, bE oRigiNal' " I said in a funny voice in an attempt to make her laugh, and it did she let out a small giggle and un-paused the movie. She snuggled closer to me and pulled the blanket we had over us. as we neared the end of the movie where Beauty and Jo had their heads pressed together suddenly Y/n cried out
"I WISH MY HORSES WERE LIKE THIS WITH MEEEE"
I smirked slightly, having an idea. Once the credits showed up on the screen I grabbed her hand and pulled her off of the couch
"Baby, what are you doing"
"get your boots we're going horse riding"
her eyes lit up like a kid on Christmas morning and she ran to our room to go get ready while I grab the keys to my Range Rover and follow her up to get ready myself. We got ready and I headed out to the car before y/n got in the car I called her dad to ask if we could go, since they are his horses
"hey A, how are you doing"
"hey Mr. Y/l/n, I'm doing good"
"That's great to hear, what did you want? Her hand in marriage?" he joked
"no, not yet," he chuckled at my comment "I was wondering if we could go out to the ranch and ride the horses"
"sure go ahead, mi hija" I guess I was like a daughter to him because 'mi hija' is my daughter in spanish, which made me feel accepted into the family.
"Thank you Mr. y/l/n"
"no problem Ava"
he hung up and y/n got into the car
"well let's go!"
"yeah"
on the way there I hear a very familiar voice, turns out it was my own and y/n immediately starts singing
"can't live without me you wanna but you can't na, na, na, think it's funny but honey can't this show on your own"
apparently she didn't realize where she was hearing the song because her eyes widened and she blurted out
"OH MY GOD AVA YOUR SONG IS ON THE RADIO!"
"You just realized this? you were literally singing."
"yeah..."
as we pulled up to the gate I pulled out the remote that opened the gate and drove in. I parked and we got out of the car, we walked into the stall area and go to stalls 10, 11 and 12
"so which horse are you riding" she asked me
"which one is the easiest"
"Luz" she said pointing at the white horse in stall 10
"great I'll take her"
"and I'm riding Viva"
"Aww poor Santos"
"I'll ride him later. Alright follow me I'm gonna teach you how to saddle a horse"
she walked over to this giant tent like thing and walked into it, it was full of saddles, lead ropes, bridles and a bunch of other stuff she grabbed two lead ropes and handed me one she also got two reins, bridles and halters also handing me one of each we went back to where the horses were and she got into Viva's stall and put the halter on her and then hooked the lead rope to it. She took her out of the stall and tied her to the bars to go help me with Luz. she did what ever she needed to do and held the rope out for me to grab it
"You wanna take her?"
"do I have to"
"she's not gonna hurt you baby, she's trained for kids to ride her, you're fine"
I hesitantly took the rope and she moved my hands to where they were supposed to be, and I'm not gonna lie I got butterflies and apparently it showed because she looked at me with A smirk
"Still?" she asked
"still what I did absolutely nothing embarrassing"
"mhmm, sure"
we got to the shower area because apparently that's where we saddle horses here
she tied both of the horses to the thing, thing because I don't know what it's called
"alright we gotta go get the saddles"
Y/n's POV
as we're going to get the saddles Ava has this look on her face, it's like she was scared and ya know me trying to be a decent girlfriend I tightly grasp her hand
"You'll be fine my love, Luz is one of the best horses for beginners I rode her mom, Alegria when I was 11 you know first starting out she's literally just like her"
"I guess you're right"
We got everything ready and hopped on the horses I had Luz on a lead rope while I rode Viva until Ava was comfortable going on her own
*10 minutes later*
Ava's POV
We were on the horses and she had taken off the lead rope she had my horse on
"Alright, corto"
I was confused because from what I knew corto meant short in Spanish. Viva started to move in this extremely fast but elegant way y/n stopped and looked back at me I laughed a little on the inside because Viva turned her head at the same time as y/n
"hold on" she turned the horse around and went to me
"so just make like kissing noises if that makes sense, it makes her go faster"
"Yeah I guess so"
I did what she told me and the horse sped up
"Alright, now let her gallop. Move you hands up on the reins and just let her run, kisses too"
I once again did what she said and we left the ranch on the horses we let them walk and just rode next to each other
"This is fun"
"Yeah it is" she responded with such a cute genuine smile, damn I love her
"You know that riding spot you love"
She smirked and said "race ya"
I smirked as we sped up and headed towards this beautiful field of nothing but grass
We got off the horses and let them roam, since it was a closed area and sat down in the grass Viva and Luz came up to us and laid down next to us
"Well I guess my horses don't hate me" she said while stroking Viva's mane
"I told you"
Luz started to move closer to me
"Looks like someone's warming up to you, A"
"Yeah" I said petting her
Y/n kissed my forehead
"I love you Baby"
"I love you too"
