Ema-3

   Everyone was fascinated by her new abilities. Ema couldn't help but feel fascinated by them herself. She thought of herself as one of those superhero's that she used to watch on tv. The way they had awakened were what she couldn't get over the most. Earlier in the day they had to climb a small mountain in order to get to the other side and so one by one they had climbed up the mountain. Being a former marine , Rick was able to climb the mountain easily along with Abby who had hopes to join the army. Xander struggled but somehow he managed to find the strength he needed to climb it thanks to some
Motivation from Abby. What surprised Ema the most was how Anna Marie didn't even struggle one bit to climb the mountain. Ema was the last one who needed to reach the top. Though her friends had already made it up and were waiting for her , she was still a distance away from where they could help her if she were to fall. When she reached the halfway point she accidentally stepped on the wrong stone and suddenly she found herself hanging on for dear life. Rick tried to climb down to help her but he wouldn't of made it in time. Using the last of her strength Ema made one last attempt to fix herself but suddenly she let go and she found herself falling in midair.
       "EMA NO!!!!" Cried out Abby. Ema seen her whole life flashing through her eyes as she fell through the air. Suddenly she felt a rush of adrenaline and then wings made of black flames emerged from her back and then soon enough she wound herself flying. "No way. This is my ability?!" Ema said to herself as she looked at her wings. "Ema look out!!!" Shouted Xander as a weird giant bird came flying at Ema's direction. Ema flew away to try and escape it but the bird was fast. She knew she wasn't going to outspeed so she had no choice but to fight. She stopped in midair and then flew at the bird. The bird tried to peck at her with its beak but Ema crumbled up her fist and then punched the bird hard in the face. The bird flew into the ground so hard that Ema heard it's neck snap. "No
Way....how the hell did I get so badass?!?" She thought as she flew back towards her friends. More birds came flying at her but Ema had an idea. She placed her hands in front of herself and shot a powerful black flamethrower at the birds and burned them all to crisp. She then landed on top of the mountain with her friends. "That was so cool!" Shouted Xander as he , Rick and Abby ran over to Ema checking out her wings. The only one who didn't seem impressed was Anna Marie but that didn't matter to Ema. All that mattered was now she had the strength she needed to not only protect herself but her friends as well from the dangerous creatures from the island.
