It had been weeks since I had seen how Rowan was doing, so I went over to the hospital to check up on her. I asked the lady with the blonde hair at the counter where Rowans room was and she directed me straight to it. I went in and saw her. Hooked up to machines, had needles in her arm and a pump on her mouth. It was worse than I thought. My mind drifted to the day I found her. Blood all over the floor and walls and her mother stabbed deep into the stomach with a knife, I shuddered at the thought of it. But then to think that a relative of mine could be behind all this murder is truely horrifying. I stared at Rowan. Memories of our childhood came flowing back to me and at that moment I took her hand and squeezed it. I felt something but it couldnt have been true. I looked up at her calm,lifeless face. Her eyes fluttered open and then closed. The machine at the side started to beep. The line had gone dead and the numbers had gone down until they reached the last number I would have thought...zero.
Nurses came rushing in and took wverything off her. All the needles in her arm had gone, the tube in her mouth had gone. All that was left was Rowan.
"What is going on?" I asked my face trembling. The nurse looked at me with an emotion written all over her face...sad...guilt.
"Say your goodbyes." Thats all she said and then she walked out the room. I looked to Rowan and saw her pale face. Why did this have to happen to her? My eyes started to water and my hands were shaking. I was dreading this day and it came sooner than I thought.
"Thank you for all that you have done for me. Thank you for being there for me. For my family. Im sorry this happened to you and its all my fault.Im sorry. I love you Rowan. I will think off you every second of everyday.Goodbye. You will always be my best friend." My eyes were full on Niagra Falls and I quietley left the room. There stood was Bradley. I looked at him and he opened his arms, this is what I need. I ran towards him and cried into his shoulder. I stood there for hours just hugging him, until Klaus came and took me away. All I need is Bradley. All I have left is Bradley and Im not going to lose him.
