As time took on you found Hawks trying to practice something outside your office before being able to hear him though he entered with out knocking as he did several times before. you wanted to enter but you wondered why he didn't come right back out after see you were not in there, you peeked in and saw him sitting in your fluffy chair and spinning around holding your favorite stuffed animal close to him the site made your heart happy but you couldn't just let him do that. as he was occupied you decided to play a trick on him stepping in quietly and while he was focused on the stuffed animal you wrapped your arms around him. "Shit!" He squeaked out all of a sudden "oh to what do I have the pleasure of finding the number 2 hero sitting in number 4 hero's desk holding her plushy?"
You smirked turning him around in the spinning chair towards you coming face to face with a bright hawks "guess I caught you Hawks" you wink as you were about to get up but he pulled you down to him more so that your face rested between the crook of his neck and his arms wrapped themselves around your body just then the door opened and Nezu was looking for you...
"Papa! W-What are you doing here?!"
"Oh Y/n you finally confessed!!!" Nezu jumped with excitement "wait what!!!!" Hawks said "Well I was waiting for Y/n downstairs for a while but I thought I'd come up and check if you were okay and well I found my answer I believe I'll let you two continue this" Nezu leaves a flustered Y/n and a shocked hawks.
Hawks pulling himself out of shock pinning you to the floor, you and him are blushing like crazy "Did I just hear that right!?" Hawks looked at you a light blush across his cheeks "I don't know what what you heard" you huffed out "Oh I definitely heard 'Y/n you finally confessed your feelings!' and now you're definitely going to have to go with me!" he shouted hugging you. confused, you ask "T-To where?" "The gala silly Babybird!" he accidently let the nickname he had been wanting to call you for a while now, out "Babybird?" he hid his face into the crook of your neck nodding slightly.
While Hawks was on top of you on the floor still your assistant came in to tell you she was leaving for the day but she noticed that you and the bird on top of you hadn't noticed her entry she left after taking a photo making a side note to send it to you later!
