He Completed Me

Chapter 8

Damien's Pov

When I got to the café I saw a woman sitting next to Roy and as I walked closer I realized it is that bitch Sandra. My mood just went downhill.

"Hey man what got your face in a twist?" Roy asked
"Oh nothing just that you got Sandra right in front of MY FACE after what she did to me."
Sandra looked a little uncomfortable at my outburst but I don't really care.
"Well Sandra called me to get in touch with you and if I said she was here you wouldn't have come so bye bye." Roy left the café like a bolt of lightning as he got in his car and drove off. Oh man I am gonna get him for this.. before I could complete my thoughts Sandra said
"Damien I know we have been through some stuff but I changed...I want you back." She looked genuine but I can't do this again. I was hurt beyond repair and I am just now feeling like myself. Maybe its....Because of her.

"Sandra We have been over for months now and all those feelings I had for you is gone. You need to move on. We will not be getting back together." I started to stand up but she gripped my arm pretty firm and said

"You will regret what your saying we will be together again. I promise you that." She had a determined look in her eye. I ripped my arm away from her grasp.

"I wish you were that determined from the start of our relationship cause maybe then we wouldn't have broken up, but like I said we are over." I was starting to walk away..
"Is there someone else?" she asked me genuinely hurt.
"Maybe but it's none of your concern now is it?" she looked so mad but I didn't care she means nothing to me now. I got to me car and started driving back to the office. Once I got in Roy was sitting in my chair.

"What the hell Roy. What made you think that you could just leave like that." I was so pissed and I was sure he could see it cause he had a playful grin on his face. He put his hands up in surrender

"Well who would have known she wanted to get back together with you knobhead." He was having so much fun with this.
"I am totally going to tell Jennifer what you did to me." His face paled.
" Hey now let's not get ahead of ourselves. What do you want? Starbucks?. Just please don't tell her man she's pregnant and she will for sure have my balls in the wring...." I stopped him before he could say anything. I had the grin on my face now. His Wife is pregnant and he is scared shitless of her. I mean don't get me wrong I'm scared of her too.
"You could be my personal butler for 3 days." 
"Oh hell no dude I will not do that."
"okay then I guess...." Before I could finish Cece walked in to my office.

"Damien I had to remind you that you have a appointment with the sales team in 25 minutes.." After she got done looking at her notepad she looked up at me and then shifted her gaze to Roy. She seemed surprised but regained her composure.
"This is Roy my bestfriend and Roy this is Mrs. Daniels. My new PA." Roy got up and offered his hand

"Its a real pleasure to meet you Mrs. Daniels." and he shook her hand.
"The pleasure is all mine." I don't know why but I felt really jealous even though Roy is a happily married man.
"Thank you Cece you can go now." I told her as she nodded her head as she left.
"I didn't know you got a new PA. What happened to the last one?" He asked. He still had that stupid grin on his face.

"He quit. His girlfriend came and she came on to me and I told him and he said it was my fault then he quit. And what's funny is she game back asking me to go on a date with her."
"You tell the worst stories you know that." He fell on the ground laughing
"But what really happened Dam?" I released a sigh 
"He really did quit I guess he couldn't handle the work." I said running my hand through my hair. Maybe I should get a haircut.

"Well Cece is cute I would totally date her if I wasn't a married man." He emphasized Cece's name .I know he was joking it just got me a little upset that I threw the closest thing I had close to me. And that so happens to be a pen. Luckily he dodged it. I had a smirk on my face

"You could have killed me you know. I guess this means you like her huh."
"I don't know what your talking about." I started shuffling my feet under his gaze. he seems to always know when I was lying I guess that's the benefit of having a childhood friend. 
"Well Damien I have over stayed my welcome and you have a meeting ill talk to you later. but do you think that Sandra will be a problem?"
"I doubt it Roy. But she is smart get someone to watch her just in case. I can't have her interfering with my life anymore than she has." He looked understanding. He nodded and walked out of the  room I heard Roy and Cece talking for some time. This day couldn't get anymore worse.
