lydia felt her nerves kick in as she pulled her car outside the familiar house. she go flashbacks from the last time she was here, the face of heather and the tone of voice she used.
shaking her head, she gets out of her car. she didn't bring any clothes or anything with her, even if clay and her made up.
she walked up to the door and before she could knock, the door flung open and revealed the green eyed guy lydia has been dreading to see.
"hi," he spoke, clearly happy to see the girl. he seemed to be forgetting why she's here in the first place.
lydia sent him a slight smile. "hey," she mumbled adverting her eyes to his chest, avoiding long eye contact. "are you gonna let me in or are we talking at your front door?"
clay couldn't help but let out a small chuckle at the question. "yeah, sorry," he hummed, moving so she could walk in.
lydia stepped in and her heart began to race. why was she so nervous to talk to the one person who made her truely happy these days?
