Sad ending

Y/n POV

We had lost the war so I ran I didn't mind dying in fact I would let them simply kill me right now, after all my true goal was already completed

I kept running everywhere my feet touched it would give back life to plants so it wasn't hard to lose track of me

I arrived at the end of the cliff I turn and see that the shinobi had all caught up to me I ran towards them letting them pierce their swords against my back

I ran towards Naruto but he didn't move he thought I wasn't going to hurt him so he stayed still Kakashi took the hint and signaled the shinobi to stop their attacks

They hesitated but obeyed either way

I finally reached Naruto and hugged him he didn't hug back he just stood there I rested my chin on his shoulder and relaxed "You weren't able to complete your dream of taking over the world" Naruto said as he slowly took off all the swords on my back I laughed a bit "Oh Naruto I may not have completed that dream but I was able to complete another dream of mine" "Another...dream?" I nod

Flashback~

"Y/n" I turn to see Kakashi "Is something the matter?" I asked "Do you really plan on taking over the world?" Sensei asked in a serious tone I laughed "No I was just saying that because I'm too shy to tell  what my actual goal that's all" "Actual goal?" I nod "My goal is to take all the hatred the villagers have on Naruto and put it upon myself I'll make sure they respect him and look up to him as their hero that way he'll have a bigger chance of becoming hokage!"

Kakashi thought for awhile and smiled "you must really care about Naruto to go this far" I nodded

"So you see... I did all this to make the villagers hate me and love you" I say as I hold him closer "Y/n..." Naruto said he was shocked about your true intentions that he couldn't even form words  "Heh. So long my friend..." I fell back Naruto didn't react fast enough so he wasn't able to catch me

I made contact with the ground and petals flew up

Naruto POV

I sit up Y/n and hold her cold body

I grabbed her hand and intertwined our hands I couldn't hold it anymore so I started crying

"I'm sorry I didn't realize it sooner"

The battle between me and Sasuke was over we were on the ground thinking about everything we went through I senced Y/n sitting between us and I smiled "Sasuke... Can you feel that too?" He looked at me and smiled "Yeah...I can" "You fools" I heard Y/n say as petals flew towards us

"And that's the story of the woman I loved so much, but I've moved on now and I have you your sister and your mom!" I say as I finished telling the story of Y/n to my son Boruto "Wow she sounds way cooler than you dad!" "Yeah she actually was" I responded I saw Hinata with Himawari walking towards us giving me there smiles I smiled back and petals flew towards my face letting me know Y/n was still watching over us

But little did I know that was only a warning
