"congratulations on you discharge, jungwonnie!!"

sunoo came in running, hugging his long missing step brother. it has been 5 months, time sure be passing by quickly. he missed the warm hug, the refreshing smile that jungwon always have, just his presence in general, he missed it so much.

"how was graduation day, was it great?"

jungwon asked as he flips his hair making sure it feels just right on his face. sunoo was seriously too happy, he was euphoric. he didn't really care about anything else, he has jungwon now, his other half.

"it was just fine, nothing special really happened."

jungwon smiled, glad that his brother had graduated from school, since he knows sunoo dislikes studying, at least jungwon would always be greeted by him whenever he comes back home from school.

"let's go home."

sunoo had sunghoon on his mind all day.

he was absent on graduation day, he had not sent a any messages since then. sunoo was worried. it has been a whole week, nothing seems to pop up on social media or anything. he had been eyeing on his phone since morning, he suddenly felt the need of texting him but he was nowhere to be online.

sunoo had an old class group chat, where they usually talk about memories at school and stuff, but being the way sunoo is, he was never interested so he usually skipped all the messages sent. it's not like they were talking about him anyways.

all he does now is to wait for jungwon to come home from school, ever since school has finished for him, he actually feels pretty bored at home. it's not like he had somewhere to go every day, besides he was very lazy to get out from his bed too.

'sunghoon-ah...where are you?'

a few minutes turned into hours, sunoo was barely awake that time. he felt drowsy, as he wrapped himself in his fluffy blanket. and as he was about to doze off, there came jungwon, opening the door and was surprised to see sunoo.

"hyung, you're sleepy? hahaha i came at the right time didn't i?"

sunoo smiled, he has nothing to worry about, he has nothing to take care about, he always have jungwon. he doesn't need anything else in this world, all he needs is this happiness.

"ahh, you're late today! what took you so long..."

jungwon stiffened, he took off his tie and took his blazer off, he doesn't really want to tell what happened but since sunoo asked, all he could do is just tell him.

"oh, something came up in school today, i mean, a news."

jungwon took his water bottle and let the cold water run through his dry throat. he took a sit next to a wrapped up sunoo as he look ruffled his soft, fluffy hair. sunoo wasn't the type to get to know any news or stuff, but since he was curious, he wanted to.

"the homeroom teacher told us an ex student passed away due to cancer. we were all pretty shocked to be honest, but all we can do is just sit there and listen."

it didn't get to him yet, he was clueless. maybe it wasn't someone he knows because as far as he knows every one of his friends looked healthy. but little did he know, that people doesn't show that they're hurting, they're in pain, when all you see is smiles and laughter that came out of them. he doesn't feel too good about this.

"it was sunghoon hyung."
