sunghoon had always been in pain. the hospital was like a second home to him. he had always go to the hospital, it had always been too late. he had realise that bitter reality, as he was always been enduring his pain too long, he was determined to live his days as memorable as possible, no matter what would happen to him.
he never told sunoo about his pain, he prioritize sunoo over everything else. in fact, he sees him as a part of him. sunoo was lonely, so as him. he had been there through his thick and thins. it has been five months.
his condition was never really good until he has to get hospitalized, making him skip his most memorable day in his school days, his graduation day. sunoo never really noticed it, he didn't even looked for sunghoon and just went straight home, he understands how much sunoo hates school.
living with only his father, sunghoon had always been alone. it was his nature, he didn't really like socializing. until he met sunoo, the brightest kid he has ever met. although sunoo was constantly worried and sad over jungwon, he had always been so bright and cheery whenever he's with sunghoon.
he didn't want to leave anything for sunoo, as he said that he doesn't want to see sunoo crying over him, if that ever happens. he wants to go in peace without anyone knowing, not until the teacher had told everything to jungwon's class in school.
his father was the one to embrace him as he lets out his last breath, he had always been so alone. it wasn't really painful, he was used to it. he was glad sunoo didn't come to find him in that situation. he was really glad sunoo didn't have to worry about him being sick this whole time.
'sunoo, you were a courageous boy, you had a strong heart. i hope you would keep smiling like you always do when you're with me. thank you for all the memories.'
