Kim Hyejin's POV
I opened the door of Hawk's father's car. I felt Hawk grabbed my wrist.
"Don't worry about Jungkook knowing who you are, as far as I'm concerned, you are just another girl to him. He only knows me, so don't mention anything about me," he said seriously. I didn't answer him but I did gave him a slight nod and walked outside of the car.
"Take care, Hyejin." I closed the car door and watched the car drive away. I took a deep huff of breath and turned around to the school.
I followed some of the students walking inside the school. Okay, I have to admit, it's nice to see a school again. The building is very nice.
"Phoenix!" I heard someone say. I quickly turned around and saw Jieun. I scowled at her and motioned her to come to me.
She quickly walked towards me. I pulled her towards me and I whispered-shouted at her ear. "Don't call me by my codename in public! I know it's against the rules but let's just keep it between us, my real is Kim Hyejin."
"Oh right! Sorry, Phoe—Hyejin-ssi," she stammered but she still smiles. "I can't believe you're here, I'm so excited!"
I looked around and hold her arm and started walking with her. "I'm not here to have fun, Jieun. I'm here in a mission, in an assassination."
"O-okay, okay.. wait—how did you know my real name?!"
"I have my ways, now shush!" I walked away from her to an unfamiliar hallway. While walking for a few minutes, I walked back to where she is.
Good thing, she waited there.
She gave me a small smile. "I knew that you will come back, you don't know this place yet."
"Yes, I know, that was foolish of me."
"Come with me, I'll show you the guidance office to get your schedule."
(A/N: Okay, I don't know how GCU works, haven't been there lol)
We started walking to the guidance office. I examined the interior as we do. It's a nice school to study in, I sure know that the teaching is good here too.
Anyways, it's great to know that I have a friend like Jieun, if I didn't, I would have been very lost right now.
We arrived there shortly and I got my ID and my schedule.
"So, where is this Homeroom 206?" I asked her. She turns to me with wide eyes. I furrowed my brows at her. "What?"
"That's where Jungkook is," she said.
I felt a smirk crept into my face. "Perfect, huehuehue." I laughed an evil laugh. Yes, that was my evil laugh.
"But I have to warn you.."
"What? That he's dangerous? Hah! I'm more dangerous than him."
"Not that, what I meant is that, girls tend to circle him. It will be hard to even get close to him." I looked at her with an expression indescribable.
He's a playboy? That's so corny.
Jieun started to walk me to my Homeroom classroom. Now, my mind is filled with things I have to say when I'm going to introduce myself. I hate doing that, talking in front of people.
Funny how I have stage fright yet I have killed a lot of people.
We already arrived, so I turned to Jieun. "This is my last stop, thanks, Jieun." I gave her a small smile. She smiled back and waved goodbye to me.
"I'll stop by at lunch, so we can eat together," she says and walked away. I took another deep breath and walked inside. Like what Jieun said, I already saw a swarm of girls circling someone sitting on their chair.
Wow, I feel bad... sike. I don't care.
Since a lot of those girls are standing, I don't know which seat to take. But I guess the hint of their bags left on their seats means they're taken.
I am SO going to love my year here. Wait, no, I have to finish this mission to get out of this school, even if it's nice.
I walked inside with my head down low. I walked past the battalion of women and walked to the back of the classroom. I sat down and took a novel book out of my bag.
Since I came in early, there's plenty of time until the bell rings to the start of the classes. I started reading quietly until someone put a hand on top of my book.
I furrowed my brows without looking up. When I did, it was Jungkook. He looks much better in person—wait what? What the hell are you thinking about Hyejin?!
"God, it's so nice to see a new face, I hope you won't fall for me," he cockily said with a smirk. I gave him a slightly disgusted look. What? Me? Fall for him? Not a bloody chance.
"I don't fall for dorks," I said, looking away and taking my novel from him. He chuckled at how I responded.
"Hi, I'm Jeon Jungkook, you must be new, what's your name?"
Oh really? Your name is Jungkook? What good news for me.
He doesn't look like a person to be in a mafia. Does he look like an idol, a model perhaps? But I ain't saying he's attractive that's why he suits to be a model.
"Kim Hyejin," I shortly said and opened my book again to read. I heard him grunt in annoyance.
"Man, these girls are so annoying. Good thing you are different."
"Ain't my fault you look like a dreamboat." I immediately regret saying that. I looked up to see his reaction.
He was already smirking, yep, I regret saying that so much.
"Thank you for the compliment, cutie." He winked making me gag. What the hell? Who does he think he is? I freaking can't wait to kill him.
I didn't answer him and just glared at him. Even if he looks like a good friend, it's not going to change the fact that he killed my sister.
Don't worry, Aera. I will avenge you. I will kill Jeon Jungkook in the worst way possible.
In my bag, there's a gun. A pistol to be exact. How I want to blow that gun to his head and watch the blood splatter everywhere. I can't wait to see his dead body on the ground with my relieved face and say, 'I have avenged you sister'.
Saying, I want him dead once in for all. So, I don't have to think about my sister's unfair death.
Someday, I will kill you, Jeon Jungkook.
