Jeon Jungkook's POV
I squinted my eyes at Hawk or should I say Wonho. I look down to see bodies on the floor. I scoffed, these were the brats who stole from us.
"It looks like you've done the job for us, we uh—humbly thank you," I said cringing as I said 'thank'. They didn't answer, I don't know their expressions because they have masks on, I can't see their face.
Hawk was wearing that ridiculous hawk mask. Then there's 99, I remember that girl, she's still wearing that Anonymous mask. Then there's this unfamiliar girl this is the first time I've seen her mask. It was a Phoenix mask. Let me guess, her codename is Phoenix?
Hawk clicked his tongue and sighed. "We don't want to deal with you all right now, we just got the money that this group took from us." He was serious, not playing any games.
I chuckled and raised both of my hands to my chest. "Don't worry, we'll let you off the hook for now because you did us a favour, but don't ever think you are literally off the hook because I still hate you, Hawk."
"The feeling is mutual," he shortly said and grabbed the sacks of money they got back from the brats. My eyes followed them, mainly this Phoenix girl.
I saw something glisten from her hand, so I grabbed her hand. I heard her gasp and she looked at me, her mouth agape because that the only thing I can see from her face. Because of this, there was a gun pointing at my head—well, multiple guns pointing at me.
"Calm down, everyone," I said looking around the armed people. "There's just one thing this girl has." I looked at her fingers and it was what I thought it was. My ring from Cartier. "I believe this is mine."
She looked at the ring and grabbed her hand back. I lifted one eyebrow at her, she just sighed. The girl took off the ring from her ring finger and put it on my palm.
I smiled while looking at the ring then at her. "Thank you for cooperating, I thought I will blow your head off," I coldly said but I still maintained my smile at her.
I heard her growl at me and I just smirked. "Well, this was rather a weird day, but I hope you have a good day after this," I said and my smile fell. The other guys from my group took what's theirs and walked back to me.
"It was nice meeting all of you, especially you, Phoenix?" I smiled at the girl with the Phoenix mask. I saw Hawk clenched his fist. What's his problem? Are they together? I suddenly felt bad for Phoenix over here.
I looked at Phoenix once again. She's tightly holding something behind her back. I leaned to the side for a bit to see what it was. When I did, I was shocked but I didn't let that emotion show in front of them.
The red grip on that pistol and the small engraved lettering under the handle. I don't want to assume, but I think that was my gun. I looked back at the girl to ask her about the gun she was holding but Yoongi Hyung spoke before I did.
"Come on, Jungkook. I don't want to stay in the same place as these people." He was the first one to walk out of the warehouse and went into our car.
I heard Phoenix scoffed quietly. I furrowed my eyes at her. She's one interesting fella.
The rest of us walked away with all of our possessions back. While walking, I looked at my ring. The diamonds glistening from the daylight.
Thank god, I got you back...
Kim Hyejin's POV
Well, there's goes the expensive ring.
I looked at everyone and nodded at the door of the warehouse. "Let's go, we got everything." I walked out first while putting the gun away in my hoodie pockets.
I saw two black cars parked in front of our van, this one was Jungkook's. I caught his amazing eyes looking at mine. I looked away from his gaze and went into the van.
The two cars drove away, at the same time my members walked out of the warehouse. I sighed and took off my mask and wiped the sweat forming on my forehead.
Jungkook saw his gun and I'm worried he will think it's me. He already probably found out that the gun he put in that drawer is missing. I was the only one there other than him so he will hundred per cent suspect me.
"Hey, is there a problem?" I heard Wonho said when he entered the van. I looked at him and forced a smile while shaking my head. He didn't say anything else and just started driving when all of the others went in.
I was now in my apartment. I walked to my bedroom and laid on my shitty bed and groaned. I'm just so glad that we got the money back, I thought there's no other hope for us now.
I heard my phone dinged. I forgot I left that to charge.
I walked to my phone and opened it. It was a message from Jungkook. Wait, where the hell did he get my number from?
Jungkook: Hey Kitty, what are you doing?
Me: How the hell did you get my number?
Jungkook: I met a friend of yours, her name is Jieun. I got your number from her.
Not surprised Jieun did that.
Me: What do you want?
Jungkook: Oh, nothing~
Me: By nothing, you meant you want to annoy me more than how annoyed I am today?
Jungkook: What made you annoyed before me? I was the only person to annoy you.
Well, I'm glad he knows that.
I didn't reply to him. If I told him that someone took something from me, he would know that I was Phoenix. I mean, Jungkook is not stupid. If he is, why would he be in a mafia in the first place?
I turned my phone off and laid on my bed again. I want to sleep for the whole day, so I would have enough energy for tomorrow's school.
