chapter 2:
is it worth it?

Looking at the mirror emotionlessly. Kun took a deep breath before sighed loudly as he splashed water on his face. Remembering every word he texted Winwin last night. Kun thinks, the more they trying to hide or expecting everything be alright- it will get worse. Kun knew his family too well to be wrong.

Walking out of his room fully dressed for his last paper to the kitchen seeing his mom busy setting the table for a breakfast with her only son and husband. Kun timidly raised his head seeing his father was walking to the dining table, putting down his bag, and walking to his wife to help her bring out the food.

After Mr. Qian finish leading his prayer to thank God for the food, the small family ate silently. Mrs. Qian looks a bit too bright that morning while looking at Kun. Kun was extra stiff that morning because he is about to say something his dad will disagree.

"I am flying back to Seoul tomorrow," Kun said softly only looking at his mother because he was afraid. thinking about the disappointed expression that his dad might give him.

Mrs. Qian is a novel writer, she has published 10 books and 3 books is one of the best-selling books in China. She has had a small studio for piano teaching and that's how Kun develop his love for music and song producing. His mom was very supportive of everything he ever wanted.

Mrs. Qian applied a lot of music programs for Kun and Mr. Qian didn't say much at first because he thought that his son has such a cute hobby until he entered a Chinese show to debut as a singer or group under a big company. Mr. Qian didn't want his only child to choose a very unclear part because everyone knows, singer is not a stable job.

Kun manages to get a contract from a big company to debut but his mom and dad convinced him that his study should be his main propriety because he is still too young for the entertainment world. Kun thought that, Yes. He is too young and should listen to his parents. That is how big his love and respect for his parent. His parent before himself.

Mr. Qian has a small but strong book publishing company, he never forced Kun to continue his business because Kun never should any interest in his business and Mr. Qian wants his only son to live his life to the fullest. We only live once.

Aside from music, Kun loves the sky and out of space. Kun is a great student, he can absolutely achieve everything he wants and his parent promised to always be there for him. Always supporting him, always believing in him.

Kun received a congratulation later from SM in late 2013, his father didn't talk to him for months. It was hard but Kun and his mother convinced his dad to accept his passion.

Winwin debut news hit his father and he asked Kun when will he debut? He had been training as long as Winwin. Why didn't Kun debut with him?

Once again Kun received a long lecture about how a singer's job is not secure.

Kun hinted once that he is dating Winwin, Kun wasn't even sure if he is dating Winwin since Winwin never said anything about them dating but apparently they're married in the future so that means..... they are dating...... right?

Mr. Qian raging at Kun to get a grip. Homosexuality is a sin.

Kun tried convincing Winwin that they can change the future so many times that he can't even count how many times a repeated same word to Winwin over and over again. Winwin said it will work out. Everything is going to be okay! But how!? Why is Winwin so confident!? It's not even him who will face his father?!

Putting down his chopstick, picking up the spoon. Gently biting the tip of the spoon, raised his head to look at his dad. His dad was very calm and jubilant that morning. Kun was terrified that he will ruin his father's good mood.
