********fast forward 1 week***********
"Mackenzie, you haven't talked to me in a week. I keep telling you I was drugged up with medicine, and I didn't know it was Camryn! I mean, you forgive Camryn, but not me?" Trevor said.
"You don't understand, Trevor! I've been hurt to many times in my life! And I cant just go back to someone who hurt me!" I yelled.
"I told you I'm sorry! Mackenzie, I love you! And I know you probably don't beleive me, but I love you, and I will always love you." Trevor said.
"I don't care....wait what?" I said.
"I love you, Mackenzie." Trevor said softly.
"You don't mean it." I said, even though I knew he did.
"Mackenzie, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I heard what Bailey told you at the music video recording. And she's right. I look at you differently than anyone else, because I love you. I could write a million pages on why I love you, and it would all be true. I care about you. And I want you in my life." Trevor said looking at me.
"I cant do this. I'm sorry." I said.
I ran out the door and ran down to the park. This park was better than a lot because it was the only place I had seen in Cali with woods. I ran into the woods and kept running until I found a fallen tree. I sat down and put my head in my hands.
"Mom, what am I going to do?" I asked.
I must've stayed in the same exact spot for a few hours because Ricky came and sat down next to me.
"Girl, you can run really far." Ricky said.
"How did you find me?" I asked.
"Your phone, sunglasses, and Chapstick fell out while you were running." Ricky said.
"I bet you came here to tell me that I should get back together with Trevor." I said looking at Ricky.
"No, but I could give you reasons why you should be in Trevor's life?" Ricky said.
"Ok." I sighed.
"Ok, if you aren't in Trevor's life, he won't be happy. I've never seen him this happy. Ever. He loves you Mackenzie." Ricky said. "He didn't mean to kiss Camryn."
"Oh my god. You are messing with my anger." I said.
"Sooooooo?" Ricky said.
"I love Trevor too, and I never wanted to break up with him, I was under pressure, and I'm pretty sure I was on the edge of having a panic attack, so I didn't know what to do. I'm so happy when I'm around Trevor, and I love him." I said.
"Then I think you know what to do." Ricky said.
I nodded but stayed where I was.
"Are you coming?" Ricky asked.
"I guess." I said standing up.
We walked out of the woods and walked back to the house.
"Wait out here. I will go get Trevor." Ricky said.
"Ok." I said.
I sat down in the drive way and waited for Trevor to come out.
He finally came out and sat down.
"Hey." I said.
"Hey." Trevor said.
The tension was so thick, I could've cut it with a knife.
"Ricky said to give this to you." Trevor said handing me an Arizona.
"Thanks." I opened it and took a sip.
"Mackenzie, I love you." Trevor said.
"I, uh, love you to." I said.
"Do you maybe want to go back out with me?" He asked.
"I guess. But next time that ever happens.." I pretended to cut my neck.
"Got it." Trevor said quickly.
I took another drink of my Tea.
"I'm gonna go inside." I stood up and walked inside the house and up to my room and locked my door. I set my Arizona on my vanity and plopped down on my bed. I looked at the bear Trevor had gotten me when he asked me out. That was one of the best days of my life.
I heard a soft knock on my door.
"Coming." I sighed.
Lia walked in and sat on my bed. I closed my door and grabbed my Arizona.
"How did it go?" Lia asked.
"Fine I guess." I said.
"Cool."
" I think I'm gonna go spend the night somewhere. To much tension here. Wanna come with? You can bring Andrea and Camryn." I offered.
"Camryn and Sam went to the skatepark. But I'll ask Andrea. And I definitely will come." Lia said.
"Ok. We will leave in an hour." I said.
Lia waved goodbye and went to find Andrea.
I grabbed my soccer bag from the closet and put my girly stuff in, a 'Free Spirit' crop top, bleached jean shorts, dark red Vans, my bathing suit, an old soccer tornaument shirt, gray sweatpants, and my phone charger inside.
Then, I grabbed my wallet and sunglasses and went downstairs, where Lia and Andrea were already waiting.
"I guess we will take my car." Lia said.
We loaded up into Lias car and she drove to this really fancy hotel with an indoor pool, and a spa.
"Hello. How may I help you?" The receptionist asked.
"We'd like to get a room please." Andrea asked.
"Here is your key. Have a good stay." She said handing Andrea the key.
"Room 52." Andrea said.
We walked to the room and got settled. Then, we changed into our swim suits and went down to the pool.
"Are you going to get in Andrea?" Lia asked from the pool.
"Ya come in with us!" I said.
"I'm getting shut eye right now." Andrea said.
I looked at Lia and we got out of the pool and pulled Andrea in.
"Guys!" Andrea whined.
"We got you!" Lia said.
We ended up staying at the pool for a hour. Then we went back to our hotel room and took showers and slowly fell asleep while watching re-runs of Mean Girls.
