Chapter 37

She finally calmed down so I picked her up gently and placed her on the bathroom counter. "This is gonna sting a bit but you have to." I say turning on the water. I then gently grab her wrists and place it under the water causing her to close her eyes shut and bite her lip.

After a few minutes I take a towel and gently dry the wound. "I'm sorry." She says tearing up again looking down. I grab her chin and pull it up so she's looking at me and dhake my head.

"Dont apologize. It's my fault , I should've never left." I say. We both stay silent for a few minutes then I pick her up. She wraps her legs around my torso and her arms around my neck reminding me off the good old days.

I walk into the bedroom and place her on the bed. "I'm just gonna put on another shirt okay?" I say as this one was full of blood. She nods looking down, her eyes filled with embarrassment, regret and sadness.

I take off my shirt then grab one of my shirts I didn't take with me and put it on. I walk over to the bed and sit next to her and put my hand on her back. "Hey." "I'm so sorry." She says slightly crying.

I feel tears build up in my eyes, I really broke her. I took an amazing, happy girl and turned her into a secretive, quiet girl. I feel the tears roll down my cheeks. "I'm sorry to." I say pulling her into my chest as she cries and I do the same as my head is buried into her neck.

As my hands are on her waist her hands go up to my hair gently playing with it. She then hugs me, I was surprised at first but I obviously hugged back. She pulls away looking me in my eyes as I look back.

I have no idea what got into me but I leaned in and kissed her gently and she immediately kissed back without hesitation. I feel her hands cupping my face as mine are still on her waist.

Feeling her soft lips against mine made me happy. I smiled into the kiss causing her to giggle a bit. The same sparks light up like every time I kissed her.

I then realized what I was doing and quickly pulled away. "I-I'm sor- She cuts me off by kissing me. As we pull away I open my eyes seeing her smiling causing me to smile. She's sighs in relief as I chuckle.

"You have no idea how much I've missed that." She says. "Actually I do." I say causing her to smile. I smile at her and she then crawls onto me cuddling me.  "I want you back Quin." She says causing me to sigh.

"I know baby... Let's talk tomorrow about this but for right now let's just cuddle." I say causing her to giggle and god damn i missed that fucking giggle. She lays down beside me and we pull the blanket over ourself, then she lays her head on me and I play with her hair.

"May I?" She asks pulling on my shirt. "Yes please fuck do anything you want!" I say making her laugh. She puts her hand up my shirt scratching my abs gently with her nails.

"Please stay here tonight." She begs. "Of course... Get some rest beautiful." I say kissing her head. She nods and cuddles closer to me. "Goodnight Quin." "Goodnight Nel."
