Chapter 22

CHANEL POV
After I'm done getting ready I walked downstairs seeing most of the people ready. "Okay whose going?" I ask.

"Okay so it's you, me, Bryce, Anthony, Avani, Vinnie, Josh, Jaden, Mads, Amelie, Blake, Noah, Dixie, Tayler, Charly, Troy Nessa, Charli, Addison and Quinton." Kio says. "O uhmmm... Okay." I say.

"Is that okay with you?" Avani asks. "Yeah yeah that's fine. Let's go." I say. "Okay well we need four or five cars. We can use mine." Kio says.

"Mine."Bryce says. "Mine to."Vinnie says. "Mine." Bryce says. "Mine." Quinton says. "Okay so Addison, Mads and Jaden can come with me" Bryce says.

"Okay Troy, Josh and Charli can come with me." Vinnie says. "Tayler, Charly and Chanel can come with me." Kio says making me sigh in relief. "Amelie, Blake and Nessa can come join me." Quinton says.

"Vani, Dixie and Noah can join me." Anthony says. We all nod, walk outside and get into the cars. I sat infront with Kio while Tayler and Charly was in the back.

I was looking out the window trying to distract myself from Quinton when I get snapped out of my thoughts by a hand shaking my thigh. "Hey, you okay?" Kio asks gently shaking me.

"Uhhh... Ye-yes." I say. He nods slowly before pulling up in the parking lot at the beach. We all get out as well as the others. We grab our towels and snacks before walking to the sand.

I throw my towel open next to Kios and Avanis and sit down. "Uhm.. What do you think your doing?" Kio asks me. "Sitting down." I say confused. "No, come swim." He says begging.

As much as I wanted to I couldn't cause that meant I had to take off my shirt reveling my wrists. "I'm okay Kio, you go I'll watch." I say but instead of him going to the water he walks to me and sits down next to me.

"Nel what's wrong?" He asks. "... It's just... What did I do wrong? Was I not pretty enough? Was I not skinny enough? Did I not make him happy enough? ...Was my love not enough for him?" I say as tears start building up.

"Come here beautiful." Kio says pulling me in his chest. "Dont you ever think those things are true. You are the most beautiful girl in the world. And who cares if your skinny or not love comes in all shapes and sizes. Your love meant everything to Quinton, you meant everything to Qyinto. Believe me everytime we hang out your all he talks about. And you guys are meant to be! I've never seen him or you as happy as when you two were together." He says as I cry in his chest.

He strokes my hair calming me down. After I calm down I pull out his chest and look forwards to the water seeing Quinton staring at me. I immediately look away.

"Come let's go take some pics." He says grabbing my one hand. I wipe away my tears and nod.
