Dean sat on his bed, preparing himself mentally to get up and face the agonizing pain.
There was a small knock on his door, Opening from the other side, Sammy stuck his head in and told Dean that Dad would be angry if he didn't get to work before he was awake.
Glancing over at his bedside table, the alarm clock read "9:30"
Dean grabbed his bag, giving sam bus fare to go to the library.
Limping down the road to the train stop, waiting patiently for the morning train, Dean realized how nice the summer air felt today.
"Train to gas town is now boarding" an announcer said monotoned
Dean made his way to the doors, just getting there in time.
"What happened to you?" Dean heard from behind, he turned seeing a woman, about early 20's examining his neck
"Oh uh, nothing, Just was jumped in an alleyway," he said shying away from the girl
"A handsome boy like you should be careful. " she said, not trying to hit on him
"Yeah, i know for next time" a small smile spread across his lips, finally turning back to the doors.

Castiel just arrived at work, 10 minutes early and the first person there.
Un-packing his supplied for the day, when he heard the door ring from it opening.
Emily was about 5'1, with deep red hair with the side of her head shaved, leaving her natural dark roots showing.
Today she was wearing a bleach tye-dyed type black shirt, ripped acid wash jeans and white doc martens with black laces.
In her ears were what looked like white stone plugs.
She looked over at me and i could see she was wearing her big framed glasses today, along with black lipstick and her septum piercing.
"Hey Cas." Her voice echoed through the empty shop.
"Hey Em, haven't seen you in a while" I said leaving my work area, going to give her a hug
"Yeah, i've been away. But i heard you got a crush on a certain Dean Winchester" she remarked, a smirk spreading across her mouth.
"W-what. No, i don't even know him that well yet." I answered rubbing the back of my neck.
"Haha, it's okay bud. He's a charmer." She said patting me on the shoulder, passing me to walk to her studio across the hall from mine.
I was startled by the sound of Fall Out Boy. Emily plays Jet Pack Blues
"every morning she's here with me. Which is fine with me.
"I got those jet pack blues
Just like Judy
The kind that make June feel like September
I'm the last one that you'll ever remember"
Chucking at Emily singing the lyrics aloud, I thought i'd go on a stroll, seeing as time flies by... It's now 11:00
I thought for a moment before going the opposite way of the flower shop.
As i walked around, i noticed the little things, the cracks in the sidewalk, the fumes from the passing cars, and the birds on the too of the buildings.
I walked a block up, before turning and coming back down on the opposite side of the street.
As I finally made my way back to the shop, i thought i'd check in to see if Dean is working yet.

~Dean~
Thankfully, i made it into work without being noticed. I had already put my apron on and began working in the back. Seeing what flowers needed to be re-stocked, and which needed to be watered.
I heard the door bell chime and from behind the counter I saw Castiel walk in.
Shit.
I quickly made my way back into the employees area.
"Hey, Dean?" I heard his voice from the doors
I stopped dead in my tracks and held my head low, bringing my bruised arms in front of me.
"Dean?" Cas said, coming closer
"No, wait." I said to him before he could come into contact with my aching shoulder
"Okay"
"Um, why are you here?" I asked him, still not facing him
"We had plans remember? We were going to go over tattoo designs" he said, touching my arm. I flinched away, slowly turning my body to his
"Dean..? What's wrong?" Cas asked me, his voice full of concern.
I lifted my head, enough so he could see the bruise if he looked at my neck.
Of course he did.
"What is this from?" His voice softening, as he brought his finger tips to my neck, lightly feathering over the deep bruise.
"I-it's nothing, i'm okay" I answered taking his hand away from my neck and holding it a little too long.
"Why don't you come back to my shop, and we can talk about it in private." Cas replied
"But i'm working."
"It's okay, i'll phone them later saying you became deathly ill" Cas told me, smiling a little bit
"Okay..." Was all i could manage
