The next day Gert went to Chase's table. He was sitting with his friends and some random girls he doesn't even know. Chase didn't notice Gert so she tapped his shoulder. "Oh hey Gert! How's it going?" He said. "How's it going?" Did he just say that like they were friends? "Uhm everything is alright. Hey I just wanted to talk to you for a minute, if it's not a problem of course." she said. Chase nodded his head. Gert wanted to help him up so she gave him her hand. Did their hands just touch? They both went to the hallway. Chase looked at Gert and she looked at him. In less than a second Chase put his head forward so he would touch Gert lips. There it was. The kiss that Gert wanted her whole life. Did he realize that this was her first kiss? Gert felt awkward but she also enjoyed the kiss. When they stopped kissing they both smiled. "That wasn't what I wanted to talk to you about but....this is nicer." Gert said. Chase kept smiling. "I need to confess something... I have been watching you for a while now and I really like you. I asked our teacher to make us partner up to become friends." Chase said. What just happened?! He confessed to Gert that he has feelings for her? "Why aren't you saying anything? Did I do something wrong?" he asked. "No! No! Not at all! It's just unexpected but... I really like you too."
"So what are we now?" Chase asked. Aria and Emily walked into the hallway. "I don't know, Chase" Gert said. Gert and Chase didn't notice Aria and Emily. "Come on, I really like you and you like me. Why can't we be together?" Chase asked. "Chase, you dated my best friend last year and you cheated on her. Why wouldn't you cheat on me now? And even if we were going to date, Aria and Emily would hate me forever" she said. Aria and Emily appeared. "I think we already hate you." Emily said. They both ran away.
Gert ran after them. "Wait! I'm so sorry, it just happened and I didn't know what to do, okay?" Gert said. "How could you? You were actually going to agree on dating him when you know that he cheated on me!" Aria said. "I know and I asked him if he wasn't going to cheat on me. But he seemed serious." Gert said. Aria answered: "He seemed seriously in my relationship too, until he cheated on me." It was quite for a few seconds. "I can't believe you!" Emily said. They both left Gert.
