Chap 6- Battle Sim.

I woke up and cursed everything, I had trained my wings yesterday and was sore. I get ready and bike to the train station. I get to school a little early and sit in my seat. I decided to ignore the world and put in my headphones. Aizawa-sensei comes in and tells us that our hero costumes are done and that we need to change into them and meet on the training field. I look at all the other girls' costumes. They are all so quiet. Mine is simple. I have a Black bodysuit with a utility belt that holds my knives and what would be, guns. I also have a hood. I made the mistake of letting the compound decide so this was my first time seeing it.

We all went to the training field and saw a building. I see All Might and squeal a bit. I don't dislike All Might, he's a good hero and I respect him. Though I would never admit it. I watch as he pulls out note cards and clears his throat a bit. "HELLO CLASS, TODAY WE ARE DOING A BATTLE SIMULATION. YOU WILL PUT IN RANDOM TEAMS AND GIVEN 15 MINUTES TO DEFEAT THE VILLAIN.WHO THE VILLAIN IS WILL BE DECIDED RANDOMLY." He clears his throat and shuffles his cards. "TO WIN, THE HEROES HAVE TO EITHER TOUGH THE BOMB OR CAPTURE THE VILLAINS. FOR THE VILLAINS TO WIN, THEY HAVE TO SECURE THE HEROES. IF THE TIMER GOES OFF BOTH LOSE.". We all sat quietly before some burst of questions. Poor All Might looks at his cards in desperation. I decide to help him out. "You guys need to shut up, he explained the objective now sit and let's get to the teams." I look at him expectantly and he nods in gratitude. We look at the box and choose a paper. I am on team B with Izu-sama.

(the teams are the same except Ochako is missing today)

I look and see that we are up first against team J, which is Bakugou and Iida. I see Izu-sama quaking in his boots. I look at his costume and say "Don't worry little bunny, we got this!" He turns red as we walk out. The siren goes off and we run in. "Yuki-sama, Kacchan will come for me, if you are fast enough you can finish this quickly." I look at him and nod. It's a solid plan. If I am fast enough I can help him. I see Bakugou round the corner and blast towards us screaming "DEKUUUU". I slip past him and run up the stairs hearing fighting. I fly up until I sense Iida behind a door. I blast in catching him by surprise. I punched him effectively, knocking him out. I look and see that there is now bomb around. I sigh and tie him up, I know where the bomb is but something tells me Bakugou wouldn't stop after the alarm.

I fly down and head toward Izu-sama when I hear All Might's voice through the speaker "NO YOUNG BAKUGOU, YOU'LL KILL HIM!" I go as fast as I can when I round the corner. I see him pull the pin, he may be fast but I am faster. I fly in front of Izu-sama wrapping my wings around him as the blast goes off. I see his eyes widen in fear. I smile as I feel an intense pain in my back. The boom was so loud my ears were ringing. I feel myself fall and hit the ground. I hear the sound of an emergency stop. I see Izu-sama bending down over me crying. I am crying because no matter how tough you are, that hurts like a son of a bitch. I see Bakugou start cursing. I manage to hear 'if I get him now she can't stop me!' That's where he is wrong. I see him pull the other pin but once again I throw myself over Izu-sama, desperate to protect my first friend. I scream as I feel my wings singe. I see All Might hurting over along with Aizawa-Sensei. I see Izu-sama look at me in horror. I smile and right before I go out I say "don't worry Izu-sama, I have healing!"

Then everything goes black.

I wake up to see a bright light above me. I sit up only to groan as my back protests. I notice my wings have retracted and guess that combined with Granny's healing and mine, I will have minor scars. I look around and see that it's late. I get up and start to leave when I feel myself get karate chopped in the head. I yelp and turn around seeing granny frowning at me. "Now where are you going?"

"Um, home miss."

"I need you to stop seeing me like this, you're lucky you have healing otherwise you would have a nasty scar. Now all you have is a little scar."

"Oh, OK." I bow and head out only to get tackled by Izu-sama. I look down and see that he has been crying. I frown and ask "Are you OK?" He looks up and me and laughs "Why are you asking if I'M OK? You got your back blown off TWO TIMES!". I smile lightly and say "Because I am able to heal and you are not. Now why have you been crying? Are you hurt? Wait." I grab his shoulders and send healing energy through him. Nothing is wrong. "Well, you did jump in front of me and protect me from Kacchans blasts 2 times, when All Might said that 1 could kill me. Do you know how worried I was? I almost killed one of my friends by being weak and then protecting me!" Izu-sama said all of this really quickly and it took me a minute to register. "Wait you were crying because of ME. Why, I am expendable?" He looks up in shock before hugging me harder. "Don't you ever say you are expendable again Yuki-sama! You are the first person to ever treat me with kindness! You have lots of people that care about you! You are anything but expendable!" I look down with tears in my eyes. All my life I had been told I was expendable. I looked at him, feeling like I was 5 again after they told me that my life's purpose was to serve and that I was expendable. I look him in the eyes and say something heartbreaking. "Oh Izu-sama, that's where you're wrong. I am expendable and if I died, nothing would change. It's OK though, I am fine with that fact." I give him a watery smile and walk away.

Aizawa's POV

Unaware that Aizawa-sensei was listening. He was slowly but surely feeling more and more sorry to you. What type of kid says they're expendable? He decided to follow you in case you did anything stupid.

Izuku's POV

I watch as she walks away, feeling immense guilt and sadness. She just looked me in the eye and told me that if she died no one would care. I don't know what she's been through but I decided then to convince her it wasn't expendable.

Yuki's POV

After I round the corner I break into a run and run all the way to my apartment. I put down my stuff and take the stairs to the roof. I sit and cry. I look down and feel sad. I was betraying the only people who had ever shown me kindness. I stand up and sigh looking down. I am about to step down when I hear something. "Don't do it kid."

Aizawa's POV

I watch as she stands up and sighs. I rush forward and say "don't do it kid, I need you to come here OK?"

Yuki's POV

I looked around in surprise and said, "Sir, I wasn't going to jump!" I back up before realizing something I was on the edge of a roof, a really tall roof. I look at him in fear as I fall. I try to fly but my wings are still injured. I see him run to the edge and extend his scarf. I close my eyes as I am about to hit the ground when I stop. I look and see him panting his scarf extended to catch me. I smile and laugh in relief. I wouldn't have died, but I would've been super hurt.

Aizawa POV (right before she falls)

I see her turn around and wave her hands as she says that I misunderstood. I see her take an accidental step backwards. I see as her eyes lock onto mine right before she falls. I rush forward, Throwing my scarf after her I see her struggling to fly as she cries. She's about to hit the ground when my scarf wraps around her. I see her slowly open her eyes and laugh before she looks at me and with her gaze says 'Thanks for not letting me die'.

Yuki's POV

He lifts me back up and I sit on the roof trying to slow my heart down. I look at him and say "Hey thanks for saving me, even though I wasn't going to jump in the first place." He scowls at me and says "Haven't your parents ever told you to not stand on the edge of roofs?" I look him dead in the eye and say "no, they were murdered when I was five along with my other family by villains." His eyes widen before he says "Sorry, who do you live with then?" I look out over the city and say "No one, I am on my own." He looks visibly concerned. I laugh lightly and say "Don't worry I am doing fine, they left a huge chunk of money for me." I get up and bow "Once again, thank you, but I must get started on Present Mics homework." I walk towards the door and wave him goodbye.

So, she got a bit of mental abuse. I mean we all expected this but oh well.
