Prompt: After what happened last year at your work's annual holiday party, you promise yourself you will not drink any of those delicious (and free) holiday cocktails at the open bar this year. Within minutes of this year's holiday party, you find yourself breaking your no-drinking rule, but know it's for a good reason. What other choice do you have?
What is ChickLit Fiction?
Books in the chick lit genre appeal mainly to women, with a strong female lead character directing the plot. The chickLit genre is different and considered completely separate from romance because it involves all the main character's relationships (friends, family, etc.) and not just her romantic interests.
