Prompt: You decide to surprise your family by flying home. When you arrive at your childhood home, your parents have no idea who you are and claim their only child is inside, eating dinner with the rest of the family.
What is Suspense/Thriller Fiction?
A character in jeopardy dominates these stories. This genre involves pursuit and escape. It is filled with danger, and there are one or more 'dark' characters that the protagonist must escape from, fight against, or do best in the story.
