Maleficent was only 15 and she took good care of her family. Maleficent was running away from her hidden woods cottage. Towards the forest where she gathered wood for the fire. She ran to the place she always found sticks. A baby raven flew to her, cawing in her face. She touched its soft feathers and placed it on her shoulders. "What shall I call you?" Maleficent asked. She thought as she grabbed her twigs and walked home. "Desmond! I'll name you Desmond, Father! I've-" Maleficent started to scream. She saw her father dead on the floor. She rushed to him and saw her mother dead as well. "WHY! WHY! FATHER WAKE UP! ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME!" Maleficent screamed. She collapsed and wept in sorrow. "I'll find whoever did this to them!" she screamed. Desmond flew off of her and into the trees.
