Maleficent was waking up from her sleep, only to see a group of ravens. They swarmed her and uplifted her in the air. Maleficent was startled at first but then was calm. She looked at one and smiled. "Thank you." She said. Maleficent walked towards her dead father and dragged him to a hole. She buried him and she walked inside. "Mother? Mother!" Maleficent screamed. Maleficent ran to her kitchen and saw a paper. The paper said:
Dearest Daughter,
I am sorry that I left you. The soldiers are forcing your brother and me to leave. Your father is protecting the house. You will be safe with your father.
With Love,
Mommy
Maleficent broke into tears. "I'm going to hurt the King and Queen in a way most evilly." Maleficent said.
