MAX'S POV
~a couple days later~
Me and the guys were all talking at night before going to bed. Mostly about the X games. But then..
"Can we address the elephant in the room for once and for all" Says Pj
They Both immediately look at me
"what..?" I say looking at them both knowing EXACTLY what their talking about
"Come on man! We know you totally have something for skater girl" he says
"ugh, I told you guys i-"
"don't even try that crap dude. It's like totally obvious you like her man" I get interrupted by Pj
"just admit it man" says Bobby
They're my best friends. I shouldve known I couldn't hide anything from them.
"okay, okay, man what do you want me to say, I like her okay? I like the way she stutters when she's nerve, I like the way when she wakes up her nose is red and her hair is messy, I like the way she can take care of herself around Brad, I like the way she can skate like me and we understand eachother, I like the-"
I quickly realize what the hell I'm saying and cover my mouth with my hands waiting for them to say something.
They Just look at me speechless not knowing what to say.
" FINALLY" screams Pj
"it was about time dude" says Bobby
"You can't tell her anything I just said, this stays between us" I say pointing at each other. "specially tomorrow, when we practice for the X games" I add
"don't worry bro, your Secret is safe with us" he says lifting up his glasses giving me a smirk, I hate when he does that.
~the next day~
(Y/N) POV
So today We're gonna practice as much as we can for the X games since it's the weekend. I could say we're pretty prepared. Only I HAVE to learn that trick that max did last year standing on the board with one hand. It was amazing.
"Hey Max..? " I ask
"uh- yeah (Y/N)? " he responds rubbing the bac of his neck.
"Would you mind teaching me the hand stand you did last year for the X games last y-year?" I ask
"oh, uh, sure, it took me a while to learn but I'm sure you'll catch on quickly" he says
So just like that he starts teaching me about the perfect balance, strength in the upper arm, and how to keep the board steady.
I was So close so many times, I just kept tripping or slipping
"okok, last try I promise" I tell him
"um if you want we can do it together... so you can remember all the steps" he says
I blush and agree
Everything was going smoothly and I started to stand as I looked at max, his technique was perfect, I was a little wobbly tho, from the corner of my eye I see uppercrust looking up at us both and I try not to let him break my consentration. I suddenly feel something touch my board and when I look down it was a small pebble that was making me loose balance. I knew I was about to fall.
"MAX I'M SLIPPING" I yell
"Hold on I'll try to help you!" he yells back
But it was too late I slipped and tripped over Max, the boards went sliding down and the next thing I see I was laying on the floor and max was on top of me nose to nose.
We turned bright red as he gets off of me
" I'm so sorry" I tell him
"What? no dont apologize!, it's okay" he says
"How could I be so stupid" I say
"you're not stupid! you just tripped, it's happened to all of us" he explains
Suddenly I have this weird urge to hug him and no bones in my body could stop me. No one has really shown me so much pacience except for (B/F/N). I feel Max's hands hug me back, and I feel warm and safe.
"MAXIMILIAN! GETTING THE LADIES!" I hear Bobby scream.
we both let go of the hug and laugh awkwardly
I see uppercrust roll his eyes, turn around and leave. Good.
