ALICE TOOK A COUPLE OF DAYS TO CLEAR HER MIND, compelling someone to give her an empty hotel room a few miles out of New Orleans. She knew she was abandoning Marcel, who she had just begun to grow close with again, but she needed time to think about everything that had been unraveled to her.

After the much needed time away from everything, Alice made her way back to New Orleans, where she hoped to find Kol, the one person she needed to speak to more than anyone.

Alice made her way to the compound immediately, planning on confronting Klaus to ask where his younger brother was. She hoped he wasn't with Davina, the young witch she had yet to be impressed by. Although she knew Kol and her hadn't been together for centuries, she still felt an unhinging jealousy in the pit of her stomach towards Davina.

"Klaus?" Alice called out as she entered the compound, making her way through the hall to the dining room, where she stumbled upon Klaus, Kol, Elijah and Finn sitting around a table. "What is this?" She asked immediately, furrowing her eyebrows in confusion as she glanced over at Kol and Finn, who seemed to be wearing some sort of handcuffs around their wrists. She quickly realized they were magic-preventing cuffs, which only confirmed her assumptions of Kol having powers in his new body.

"Ah, Alice, how lovely of you to return." Klaus greeted the girl, standing from his seat to meet her gaze. "You know, you made an exit at the most inconvenient of times, we really could have used your help these past few days. But, now that you're here, please don't tell me you've come just for my imbecile of a brother." He rushed out, his gaze firm as Alice swallowed the lump that had formed in her throat.

"I needed a few days." Alice replied simply, glancing over at Kol, whose eyes had been trained on her ever since she had entered the room. He was slightly shocked that she had come back for him, mainly because he had never seen her so angry towards him before. He would be lying if he said he wasn't over the moon at her return, though.

"Well, we could all use a few days to ourselves, but not all of us enjoy that luxury, now do we?" Klaus retorted, his gaze narrowing even further as Alice let out a quiet scoff.

"I'm not your pet, Klaus." Alice commented, crossing her arms as she watched Klaus send her a small smirk.

"Why don't you watch over these two while Elijah and I have a little chat, hm?" Klaus suggested, but it was much more of a demand. He whisked Elijah out of the room a few moments later, leaving Alice alone with Finn and Kol.
