"(Y/n)!! You're going to be late if you don't wake up!"
Miu, her sister, shouts from the living room.
Hearing no response, she sighs.
"For the 4th time! The trains are delayed until sometime, so you should get ready!"
(Y/n)'s eyes opened wide, finally hearing her older sister's words. If there was something she hated, it was tardiness.
"W-Why didn't you tell me sooner?!" She jumped right out of bed and started to find her uniform.
Fortunately, she made it to school on time. Unfortunately, she bumped into Atsumu on her way there again.
Ever since yesterday, that whole "friend" incident made things between the two, a little awkward.
"So uh, see ya later?" Atsumu suggests a small smile on his face, pleased he was able to see (Y/n) again.
She nods with a small smile "Alright."
Turning her back, she headed towards her locker to put on her school shoes.
As soon as (Y/n) turned away, she let out a sigh. Rubbing her temples, controlling the slight blush that invaded her cheeks.
"Maybe I was a bit cold to him..." She grumbled, feeling guilty from yesterday. He didn't deserve that for sure.
What's the worst thing that could happen if he were friends with (Y/n)?
"You're finally on time to practice, Tsumu." Osamu points out as his brother walks into the gym.
"Yeah, but ya still left me again!!" He cried.
Suna enters the gym a few feet behind Atsumu. "Who's that girl you were talking to?" He asked bluntly.
To this, Atsumu's raises his eyebrows. "I don't know what yer talking about?" He brushes it off.
"You don't? She has h/c hair. I saw you two walk into the school building. It must be my imagination or something..."
The lazy middle blocker snickers, glancing over to Osamu. Who couldn't help but crack a small smile.
"I seriously don't know what yer talkin about, Suna." The golden haired setter still decides to play it off.
However, his cheeks were now a light shade of pink from the sudden mention of (Y/n).
"Did ya eat anything weird this morning?" He lightly teased him.
He shrugs, "No, I don't think so."
Time skip: Afternoon, Afterschool
"Any new members? Akko-Senpai?" (Y/n) sets down her bag.
Her senpai sighs, "Not at the moment, but hopefully, we'll get some people soon." She sadly smiles.
"It just sucks, you know? I've been in this old art room since my 1st year." Akko laughs.
(Y/n) frowned. She's only known Akko for a short period, but she felt deeply sad. If she was asked, she would probably say that Akko was her very first friend here at Inarizaki.
It was now the only resort that the girl could think of. She was given an opportunity in this club, and she doesn't want it taken away.
"Akko-Senpai! Don't lose hope!" She exclaims.
The 3rd year eyes widen.
"S-Sorry! Was I too loud?"
Akko let out a small giggle, "No, no, you're fine! You were saying?"
The girl clutched onto her skirt, feeling a bit awkward. "W-Well, since we need to spread the word about the club and all..." She pauses, looking towards the door.
No sign of Atsumu this time.
"Huh? That's...odd?" (Y/n) suddenly forgets her original idea. She was now too occupied with why Atsumu hasn't made his daily debut into the art room yet.
"(Y/n)-Chan?" Akko was confused.
Snapping back to reality, she faces her senpai again.
"Oh! R-Right, so I was saying... Maybe we need someone who's well known with the school who could potentially help spread the message?" (Y/n) sheepishly laughed at her own suggestion.
"Sounds weird, right?" She asks Akko.
Akko smiles warmly at (Y/n), "Well, who do you have in mind (Y/n)-Chan?"
Again, she looks back to the doorway.
He's probably busy with volleyball. She thought.
"No one in particular." (Y/n) sighs. She smiled shortly after, looking at the faint blue paint spill stain near the door.
Her number one priority, for now, was to build a friendship with Inarizaki's best setter.
