Chapter 4

Park; January 2014

       "I'm in love with you."

I could barely think, let alone talk. Because when he said that, I realized I felt exactly the same. I was in love with him. Him.. That sounded so strange to think about. I couldn't imagine how he feels saying it out loud.

"Boobear?" he looked at me scared of my reaction. Afraid of rejection as I would have been.         When I finally found my voice I spoke, "I feel exactly the same way. For so long." He looked at me, our eyes finally met. His, a brighter green than before. Mine, I'm sure we're close to neon blue now. I was so overjoyed. I could feel my cheek's warmth; I was blushing, major.

He was looking at me like he had at his mother's house. Only this time, the look in my eyes was a different look. They said, 'Please let this happen'.

We were getting closer, his arms wrapping around my neck, and I automatically grabbed his waist. We leaned in at the same time.

Out of nowhere there was a high pitched squeal coming from the trees. I just can't catch a break, huh?! We looked over, alarmed and terrified that some had seen. Surely enough there was a young girl, maybe thirteen, staring at us,wide eyed, very wide grin across her face, with an iPhone in her hands.

This was not happening. Someone seriously did not just see us have a 'moment', and see us reveal our true feeling to each other.
